YOU’VE WORKED ALL WEEK. COME GET FILLED. 🔥

It’s Labor Day weekend. For many, it means an extra day off, a cookout, or a little time to rest.

But maybe what you need isn’t just rest for your body.
Maybe you need rest for your soul.

Maybe you’ve spent this week carrying something nobody else knows about.
Working. Worrying. Praying. Waiting. Trying to figure out what God is doing.

And sometimes faith means trusting God even when we can’t see what He sees.

This morning, you don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to get yourself together first.
Just come.

Come expecting God to speak.
Come expecting the Holy Ghost to move.
Come expecting chains to break, burdens to lift, and lives to be changed.

There is still power in the Blood.
There is still hope in Jesus.
And there is still a place for YOU in the house of God.

🔥 REVIVAL STARTS WITH A HUNGER FOR MORE OF GOD. 🔥

Tomorrow evening, we’re gathering in the Fellowship Hall for Bible Study, and our next study is centered on one powerful word: REVIVAL.

Revival isn’t just a series of services. It isn’t just shouting, singing, or an emotional moment. True revival begins when the people of God become hungry for His presence, return to His Word, and cry out for Him to move again.

📖 “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” Psalm 85:6 KJV

Maybe you’ve been spiritually dry. Maybe your fire isn’t burning like it once did. Maybe you simply know there has to be MORE than going through the motions.

Come hungry. Come expecting. Come ready to get into the Word. 🔥

Welcome to the Golden Anniversary Vow Renewal of Norman & Susan Dukes

Sometimes ministry looks like deep Bible study… and sometimes it looks like a room full of young adults laughing over dishes that all start with the first letter of their name. 😄

This was just a little fun from our Young Adults Night, but moments like these matter. Real friendships are built around the table, conversations happen that wouldn’t happen anywhere else, and lives are strengthened as we grow together in Christ.

We also recently wrapped up our study through the life of Joseph in the book of Genesis. What an incredible journey it has been! Through betrayal, suffering, forgiveness, and God’s perfect sovereignty, we were reminded that even when we can’t see what God is doing, He is always working His plan. The story of Joseph doesn’t just point us to God’s faithfulness it ultimately points us to the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We’re thankful for every young adult who comes with an open heart, a willing spirit, and yes… sometimes a creative dish! 😂

If you’re looking for a place to grow in God’s Word, build genuine friendships, and pursue Jesus together, we’d love to have you join our young adults with us. There’s a seat at the table for you.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

What a wonderful couple of days the Lord gave us at the 140th Smith Island Camp Meeting!

To everyone at Smith Island Camp Meeting, thank you for your warm hospitality, your kindness, and for welcoming our Eastern Shore Evangelistic Church family with open arms. It was truly a blessing to worship alongside brothers and sisters in Christ who have faithfully gathered on Smith Island for generations to lift up the name of Jesus.

From the boat ride across the bay to the final “Amen,” every moment reminded us that the Church is more than a building it’s God’s people coming together in one accord to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

We were especially grateful for the opportunity to hear our pastor, Jerry Hughes, preach two timely messages. The first challenged us to stop allowing the giants in our lives to intimidate us and instead trust the God who still gives victory over every Goliath. The second was a powerful call from the book of Joel, sounding the alarm that far too many are hitting the “snooze button” on God’s warning. Church, now is not the time to sleep spiritually. Jesus is coming again, and the call to repentance and readiness has never been more urgent.

Thank you to every member of our church family who made the trip, worshipped wholeheartedly, prayed, encouraged others, and represented Christ so well. These memories will stay with us for years to come.

May we leave encouraged, challenged, and more determined than ever to live for Christ until He returns.

“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” ✝️❤️

🇺🇸✝️ Today, as we reflect on the blessings of our nation, we remember that our greatest freedom has never come from a document it came from a cross.

While we’re thankful for the liberties we enjoy as Americans, our greatest hope is found in Jesus Christ, who sets hearts free from sin, shame, and death. In a world searching for answers, Christ is still the answer. He is our peace, our hope, and our firm foundation.

As we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s history, may we also pray that America would once again turn her heart toward God. Revival doesn’t begin in Washington it begins in the hearts of God’s people.

We’d love for you and your family to join us this morning at Eastern Shore Evangelistic Church as we worship the King of Kings together.

🕊️ Prayer: 10:30 AM
⛪ Worship Service: 11:00 AM

No matter where you’ve been or what you’re carrying today, there is a place for you in the presence of Jesus.

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 (KJV)

🇺🇸 God Bless America, and may we always be a people who seek the Lord.

All are welcome. We can’t wait to worship with you! ❤️
