Infinite Faith and Favor

Scripture: “Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more.” Romans 5:20

Reflection:
Sometimes I forget how deeply God knows me. He knows every flaw, every craving, every distraction, every moment I take Him for granted. And yet He still wants me. He still chooses me. He still pours grace over me in ways I can’t even measure.

The law showed us our limits.
Grace shows us His love.

I don’t have to be perfect.
I don’t have to pretend.
I don’t have to perform.

Jesus is the perfection God provided.
Grace is the overflow God gives freely.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for abounding grace. Thank You for meeting me with more than I deserve and more than I can comprehend. Teach me to rest in the truth that You have already provided the perfect sacrifice. Amen.

Today I learned something I didn’t know:
The Holy Spirit has been teaching me, guiding me, and advocating for me this whole time… and I didn’t even realize it.

Scripture Reference: John 14:26.
I’m used to Jesus being the one who teaches, so when I read that the Holy Spirit will teach me I had an aha moment.

And the word Advocate caught my attention. I don’t think I’ve talked to the Holy Spirit very much. He’s always felt like the mysterious One. But learning what “Advocate” actually means Helper, Comforter, Counselor, Guide, Strengthener made me realize He’s been doing more than I ever acknowledged.

The clarity, the conviction, the peace, the “click” moments… that wasn’t luck that was Him.

I’m learning this in real time, not teaching it.

Ask God for one specific expression of His love today comfort, peace, reassurance, or rest. Notice how He responds.

I have a confession… I didn’t actually know we were created for God’s pleasure. Today’s devotional made me stop and look deeper into what worship really means.
Worship isn’t just singing, it’s the orientation of our entire life. It’s how we live, how we love, and how we treat people. Hebrews 13:16 reminded me that doing good and sharing with others is worship too.
Today’s challenge:
Pause. Help someone. Pray with them. Pray for them.
That’s worship too.
