Night of Champions with East Cobb FCA 🏆

What an incredible evening as East Cobb FCA hosted our Night of Champions—a powerful time of community, encouragement, and faith.

We were honored to hear from David Pollack, a former University of Georgia All-American and NFL first-round draft pick. During his time at UGA, Pollack became one of the most decorated defensive players in program history, earning multiple national awards and finishing with 36 career sacks—among the best in college football history.

He went on to play for the Cincinnati Bengals before a career-ending neck injury shifted his path—but not his purpose.

Today, David is a College Football Hall of Famer, former ESPN analyst, and sought-after speaker who shares a message centered on faith, leadership, and perseverance. His story highlights how adversity can shape identity and deepen a relationship with Christ.

At Night of Champions, he challenged us to live boldly in our faith—to pursue excellence not just in competition, but in character, purpose, and the way we impact others.

Grateful for a night that pointed athletes, coaches, and families toward what truly matters.

With the Masters here, this quote hits even deeper. So much of what we achieve—on the course and in life—comes from perseverance, grit, and tenacity.

As competitors and as followers of Christ, we’re called to build more than just skill—we’re called to build character. The kind that doesn’t quit when things get tough, that stays steady under pressure, and that honors God in both victory and defeat.

James 1:12 reminds us: “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

Keep showing up. Keep trusting God’s plan. Keep building a strong mind and Christ-centered character—because that’s what truly takes you far.

This Easter Sunday, we celebrate the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness. The empty tomb reminds us that no matter what we face, God’s promises are true and His love never fails.
