During yesterday's service, we celebrated Child Dedications. Nine families dedicated 10 children to God, promising to raise their children in the faith, with the church body promising to help the parents on the journey. It was a precious moment! What a blessing these children are to their families and our church family!

Last night's Revive event was so much fun! Corrina walked the ladies through how to make truly gorgeous paper flower wreaths. Together, they "considered the lilies" and talked about letting go of the need for perfection in life (and art). It was a full and meaningful evening.🌸🌼

The next Revive event will be candlemaking on July 12. See you there!

Yesterday, Brandon brought a message about God being slow to anger. As God's image-bearers we are all made with the same emotions that God experiences, including anger. It's not anger itself that causes us problems, but our reaction out of anger. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can be more like God: quick to listen, slow to speak, and walking in a spirit of forgiveness, rather than vengeance.
