Goodyear changed everything it stood for in just a few years. Goodyear had the best form of distribution thru their dealer network. The former men who gave their lives to support Goodyear and gave their lives to work all the hours. Ended up getting one of the most unethical moves any Corp has done in years. They lied to the dealers and eventually dealers found themselves alone with no advertising which was the one major unethical move to help a businessman go broke then try eliminated all training in Atlanta when cars are changing by the day and a tech has to be trained. Then Goodyear eliminates the region of a multi billion dollars business. No Trdion no region mgr in Atlanta Then the ruthless move to sell Goodyear tires to everyone no matter who. Midas firestone Walmart. Internet. So no dealer could match the price. The final straw was Goodyear Tire and rubber company decided to eliminate all leases. They did not want to be envved with brick and mortar. So dealers across USA lost their leases no matter how many years you poured your heart out working 11 hour days. This is the story of a great company with high caliber executives at the top of an outstanding family type business and all the millions of great men who poured there hearts into a company that eventually hired ruthless men only co concerned with their pockets and eliminating the Good workers the honest men only to be deceiving and turn something so beautiful and a proud American legend into a ruthless unethical company and stepped on all the many many men an woman sold out to Goodyear.
