Wednesday Bible Classes: 7 p.m. We are a group of ordinary people trying our best to serve God in that way that He has proscribed in His word. Any believer will tell you the same thing. The difference may be in how we view the Bible. Since it says about itself that every word is “God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16), we believe exactly that.
The Bible also tells us not to preach a different gospel (Galatians 1:8) and not to add or take away from the word given (Proverbs 30:6, 2 John 1:9, Revelation 22:18-19). We make every effort to adhere to what is found in the pages of this greatest of all books. It is our hope to teach the things of God and not the doctrines of men. We invite you to speak with us and/or worship with us. Our worship is very simple: we sing without instruments, we pray to God, we partake of the Lord’s Supper as instructed on the first day of every week (Acts 20:7), and we hear a portion of God’s word expounded to us. We also take up a collection for the work in the area and for needy brethren, but we do not expect our visitors to give. We know that our worship is probably not conducted in exactly the same fashion as that of the first century Christians, but we make every effort to worship God in a way that pleases Him, is in accord with His word, and is in spirit and truth.
