Atlanta Pagan Marketplace of Ideas

Atlanta Pagan Marketplace of Ideas Celebrate the diversity, expertise, and warmth of the Pagan community of Atlanta! One World Spiritual Center

3535 Shallowford Road NE

Marietta, GA

The Pagan Marketplace of Ideas is a place where you can:

Meet and speak with members of local area circles, covens, and groups. Perhaps you will find the spiritual home you’ve been looking for! Attend a ritual or two — or three. Rituals hosted by different groups will be offered throughout the day. Learn something new about your spirituality in a class or workshop. Find out what is happening

in the busy summer of 2013 – what festivals are on offer, what events are coming up. Shop local Pagan merchants and vendors. Discover the item that makes your spirit sing. If you would like to be a part of the team that helps to make Marketplace a reality, or if you would like to sign up to host a workshop, perform a ritual, or if you're an artist with wares to sell and would like to join us as a vendor, you may contact us at [email protected]

One Hundred and thirty two licks to the wind! Mind you, I’m not an advocate of getting messed up on substances just for the sake of getting messed up. This just struck me as funny from the childhood commercial perspective.
On another note......
I think that would be an awesome name for a Grateful Dead Cover Band: “The Colorado Lollipops”.
Lol!

Are you celebrating Lughnasadh / Lammas this year?

Do you have any established traditions you like to do for this sabbat?

Any you'd like to start?

Are you unfamiliar with the sabbat and would like to learn more?

With everything going on in the world at present, we're urging everyone to please be safe, be kind, and hang in there.

Some have been asking if we will be making a comeback anytime soon.

In order for us to re-open the Atlanta Pagan Marketplace of Ideas, we'd need a few dedicated and trustworthy volunteers, and an inexpensive venue that has amenities for outdoor and indoor use (i.e; a moderate space for parking, potential space for outdoor booths, and space indoors for those who for health reasons cannot be exposed to the elements.)

Finding such venues is not an easy task as at current many of such places are charging more than we can afford. Until we are able to find a venue that is not too far a distance to travel for the majority, we will be unable to open.

If anyone has any leads on available venues that do not include state parks (due to increased parking issues even with carpooling) then please post them below and we will research any and all leads for viable venues in the future.

Brightest blessings, everyone, and may your Deit(y/ies) treat you as you've treated others.

Hi, everyone. First off we'd like to thank those who have been sending us ideas on potential venues for Marketplace. We're still in the process of securing a venue for 2017's Atlanta Pagan Marketplace of Ideas. As soon as we've secured one, we'll make sure you're all the first to know!

In the meanwhile we'd like to remind everyone, particularly the people who are new to this page, that this is an official event page for an annual Pagan event, not a page for marketing and advertising random festivals, classes, groups, or businesses. Our vendors pay to have us advertise them through our pages and websites every year, and it's not fair to them to have people advertise their own stuff as they see fit.

If you have a class, festival/event, group, or business you'd like to get out there, feel free to message us privately and we can direct you to various Pagan listings where you can get the exposure you need, and we also don't mind sharing your stuff from our own personal page(s) as well.

Hello, everyone!

Before we go any further, we'd like to take the time to thank everyone who messaged us frequently asking about Marketplace, even as late as the end of January. You have all been very dedicated to Marketplace over the years, and we deeply appreciate you always trying your best to keep your Spring schedules clear for our event. Every year we get to see your smiling faces and positive energy, and it's like seeing family, a family that has continued to grow year after year.

With that said, we are afraid that for the year 2016, the Atlanta Pagan Marketplace of Ideas will be cancelled. We have hit several road bumps over the last 7 months, from bumps in our personal lives up to losing our venue. One World Spiritual Center was sold, so it is no longer a viable option to host Marketplace.

We would like to open the floor to all of you, to help make suggestions on possible venues for the 2017 Atlanta Pagan Marketplace of Ideas, to help us make it happen. We would love to see our family, our community spirit, continue to grow.

We hope to see you all in 2017!

Thank you for your patience, community dedication, and understanding.

- Jonathon
