Gap Creek Baptist Church Glorifying God, Loving People, Making Disciples Gap Creek Baptist Church is located in the Marietta community around River Falls, Jones Gap, and Gap Creek road.

Our mission is to Glorify God, Love People, and Make Disciples. Our vision is this: Gap Creek Baptist Church stands together affirming Biblical truths as we share the gospel, make disciples, and minister the love of Christ in our community and around the world. We gather at on Sunday's at 9:45 am for Sunday School, 11 am for our worship service, and 6 pm for our evening service. On Wednesday's we meet at 7 pm. We have programs for all ages during all of our services.

Join us NEXT Sunday, August 23rd at 10:30 AM for a special Homecoming celebration!

🎤 Rev. Ron Riddley will bring the message, with special music from Benny Hayes, Debbie McCauley, and present & former River Falls and Gap Creek Baptist Choir members!

🍗 Lunch will follow in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a side dish and/or dessert to share!

Come celebrate God’s faithfulness through the years, His work today, and the future He has in store.

No Life Groups that morning due to Homecoming preparations and the earlier worship service.

As Zayne Ward prepares to leave for the Coast Guard at the end of this month, we are wishing him the very best and praying for God’s blessings and protection over his journey.

It truly takes a village, and we are thankful for the mentors, teachers, and church family who have helped guide and encourage him over the years. Our church family is so proud of him!

Join us on Sunday, August 23rd at 10:30 AM as we gather for a special Homecoming celebration!

We are excited to welcome back Rev. Ron Riddley as our speaker for this memorable day of worship. Our special music will include a joyful noise from Benny Hayes, Debbie McCauley, and all of our present and former River Falls and Gap Creek Baptist Choir members! We cannot wait to fellowship and celebrate with you!

As we celebrate, we'll give thanks for God's faithfulness through the years, rejoice in what He is doing today, and look forward with anticipation to all He has in store for our church family.

🍗 Following the service, everyone is invited to enjoy lunch together in the Fellowship Hall. The church will provide fried chicken - bring a large side dish and/or dessert to share!

What an incredible way to wrap up an amazing week of VBS! ❤️

Tonight we celebrated all of our wonderful children with certificates. Afterward, everyone enjoyed delicious corndogs, ice cream, and lots of fun on the bouncy houses! 🍦🏰 Thank you, kitchen crew for the yummy food and men for the set up and take down!

One of the biggest highlights of the night? The boys won our Jamie Chapman donation race and earned the chance to cover Ms. Kimberly in silly string! 🎉 We had such a wonderful evening that we didn't stop to take many pictures!

Thank you to every volunteer, parent, and child who helped make this week so special. Most of all, we thank God for His faithfulness and pray the lessons learned this week continue to grow in the hearts of our children. 🌱❤️

We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow for Student Sunday!

Sunday, July 19th, is Student Sunday! 📚✏️🎒

Join us for this special service, where we'll highlight the memories and blessings from Vacation Bible School and Youth Camp, celebrating how God has worked in the lives of our children and youth.

As a church family, we'll also take a special time to pray over our students, teachers, school staff, and families as they prepare to return to school. Together, we'll ask God to give them wisdom, strength, courage, and His protection throughout the new school year. ❤️

A fantastic Night 4 of Vacation Bible School! ❤️🌾

Last night, we learned about Ruth and Boaz and the beautiful picture of redemption found in their story. As Ruth's kinsman-redeemer, Boaz rescued and provided for her, pointing us to Jesus Christ, our ultimate Redeemer, who rescues us through His love, grace, and sacrifice.

One of the highlights of the evening was welcoming our special guest, Ruth, who shared her story with the children and helped bring this powerful lesson to life. What a blessing it was to see God's Word come alive!

🎉 We're excited for our Closing Ceremony TONIGHT! 🎉 Join us for one final evening as we celebrate everything God has done this week. We'll enjoy worship, our closing program, delicious food, and lots of outside games and fun! 🎈

Night 3 of Vacation Bible School was so special!❤️

Last night, we learned about Rahab and the incredible faith she showed by trusting God. The scarlet cord hanging from her window was a sign that she and her family would be saved. It also points us to an even greater promise, the saving blood of Jesus Christ, which brings hope, redemption, and salvation to all who place their faith in Him.

Dress-Up Night was a hit!🎭📖 Seeing everyone dressed as their favorite Bible characters and objects made the stories come alive, and we loved all the creativity!

We are so thankful for this wonderful church family and community. We can't wait to see you tonight!

🎉 Don't forget that Friday night, we'll wrap up VBS with exciting outdoor games and food to celebrate a wonderful week! 🌞🎈

What a fun Night 2 of Vacation Bible School! ⭐🐑
Dancing, learning, and having fun for the Lord!

We learned about Abraham and his story reminds us that faith means following God wherever He leads, knowing that He is always faithful. One of the highlights of the evening was our special guest, Abraham himself!

🎉 We're excited for Night 3 TONIGHT from 6:30–8:00 PM! 🎉

🐑 Kids, come dressed as your favorite Bible character or object from one of the stories we've learned so far—or one we'll discover this week! Whether it's Noah, Abraham, an ark, a rainbow 🌈, a sheep 🐑, a tent ⛺, or something else from the Bible, we can't wait to see your creativity! Bring a neighbor!
