This link is my recent prsentation on "AI for Ministry Application and Leadership". This talk was presented in August 2024 at the EMNR (Evangelical Ministries to New Religions) conference in Jacksonville, FL.

Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence or AI (and especially generative AI) is a revolutionary technology that will impact all areas of life. This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of 1) what AI is (and a bit on how it works), 2) practical guidance for ministry application, and 3) general spiritual and ethical guidelines that honor Biblical instruction for kingdom building.

My Biography:
I work full-time for Microsoft as a Cloud Solution Architect, where I am an AI and ML expert helping customers plan and execute AI strategies -- but this presentation is not an official one from or about Microsoft. Rather, my mission as a Christian is the responible and reasonable application of AI for kingdom and mission application. In the past few years, I have been taking a similar message to audiences hosted by Ratio Christi (a campus apologetics and evangelism mission), Convene (Christian business owners), Missio Nexus (mission leaders), and EMNR (mission to strengthen Christian ministries to new religionists and cults).

I have been a Christian since age 19, and my local church is Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA. I have committed (volunteer) director roles with two 501-c3 organizations, Ratio Christi (where I am a mobilization director), and Apex Christian Singles (where I am a board member and technology planner).
