Today we had the privilege of hosting a community event in honor of the late Congressman John Lewis on the 4th anniversary of his passing. As we listened to musical performances, speeches and spoken word we reflected on his words, “Every generation leaves behind a legacy. What that legacy will be is determined by the people of that generation.” My question to those in attendance is the same I pose to you, what legacy will you leave behind? How will you continue the work of those who have gone before you?
