🌱 LITTLES
Our Littles started learning about our new catechism for this month!

❓ What is God?
✨ God is the Creator of everyone and everything.

We talked about the amazing things God created all around us and learned that God’s most special creation is people—US! 🥰 We also talked about what it means to be made in God’s image and how that makes every person valuable and special to Him.

🔥 KIDS | 1ST–6TH GRADE
Our kids learned about Jesus Resisting Temptation from Matthew 4:1–11. Jesus showed us that when we are tempted to do wrong, we can follow His example by trusting God and standing firmly on God’s Word. 📖

Ask your child:
👉 What temptations did Jesus face?
👉 How did Jesus respond to Satan?
👉 What can you do when you are tempted to make the wrong choice?

“This is my command: Love one another as I have loved you.”

This week, let’s keep the conversation going beyond Sunday and remind our kids that God’s Word gives us what we need to make wise choices and follow Jesus! ❤️

🌱SUNDAY DOESN’T HAVE TO END ON SUNDAY!🌱

We had such a sweet Sunday worshipping TOGETHER as a church family! 💛

One of our favorite things about Family Worship was getting to see our kids worship right alongside their families. There is something so special about watching our kids sing, listen, learn, and experience worship with the people who love them most. 🥹🙌

And parents… the conversation doesn’t have to stop when you leave church!

This week, we learned about Joseph and his brothers and the incredible story of how God was working—even when Joseph’s circumstances were painful and confusing.

We’ve put together a few simple questions you can ask your kids about Sunday’s lesson. You don’t have to have all the answers. ❤️ Sometimes the best discipleship moments happen around the dinner table, in the car, at bedtime, or while you’re simply doing everyday life together.

👋Tomorrow is September 1st and that means a new catechism we get to explore and learn with our M1 Kids! We are learning a big truth in a simple way - understanding who the God of the Bible is.

❓What is God?
💡God is the creator of everyone and everything.

It’s so easy for kids (and adults!) to forget how big & intentional God is. Whether you’re driving in the car, cooking dinner, or even playing outside you have a perfect opportunity to use this question & answer to point our kids back to the ONE who made it ALL.🌎

Parents, try asking this question during family time tonight! We love watching households grow in faith together🙌🏻

🌟 5TH SUNDAY = FAMILY WORSHIP! 🌟

Parents, this Sunday is a little different—and that’s a GOOD thing! ❤️

Because it’s the 5th Sunday of the month, our kids will join us for Family Worship! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦📖

As a church family, one of the things we want most for our kids is not just that they know about worship, but that they learn how to worship.

That means learning to:
📖 Follow along in their Bibles
👂 Listen for what God is teaching them
✏️ Take notes and write down what stands out to them
🙏 Participate in worship
💬 Ask questions and talk about what they are learning

These are habits we want to begin building while they are young, so that as they grow, worshiping alongside the body of Christ feels natural and meaningful.

Parents, we encourage you to bring a worship pack for your child! It can be as simple as a Bible, notebook, and pencil. We will also have worship packs available in the North Foyer and Kids Wing for anyone who needs one. 📝✨

And don’t worry, nursery will still be available for our littlest ones, ages 3 and under! ❤️

Family Worship isn’t about expecting our kids to sit perfectly still or understand everything that’s being said. It’s about giving them the opportunity to watch us worship, worship alongside us, and learn what it means to be part of the church family.

What a beautiful privilege it is to worship together—from the youngest to the oldest! 🥰

So this Sunday, grab your Bible, bring your kids, pack those worship supplies, and let’s worship TOGETHER! 🙌

📣 KIDS IN SERVICE THIS SUNDAY! ⛪️💛

Starting this week, kids will join their families in the main worship service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, as well as any 5th Sunday. 🙌

👶 A note for our Littles families:
On 5th Sundays, our Preschool–Kindergarten kids will remain in the main worship service with their families. Nursery will continue to be available on 5th Sundays and will not be included in the 5th Sunday in-service schedule. 💛

Madison will be sharing more information with our Littles families this Sunday, so be sure to watch for those details! 💛

🎒 Consider bringing a “Worship Kit” for your child!

A few ideas to include:

• Coloring pages or a small coloring book 🖍️
• A notebook or journal for drawing and taking “notes” 📓
• Crayons, colored pencils, or twistable crayons
• Bible activity sheets, word searches, or a sticker book
• Quiet fidgets or a small activity book 🤲
• For older kids, a Bible and notebook to follow along with the sermon

Let your child help choose what goes in their Worship Kit—it can make “big church” feel special! And if you don’t have one ready, don’t worry: we’ll have quiet activities and supplies available as well. 💛

Remember, kids are still learning how to worship, listen, and participate. Wiggles, whispers, and bathroom breaks are okay! Our hope is that they enjoy worshiping with their families, grow in God’s Word, and deepen their love for Jesus. ❤️

We’re excited to begin this new rhythm together, and we’ll see you in service this Sunday! ⛪️✨
