Please take a moment to say a prayer for our Holy Father as he prepares for surgery this week.
⁣
Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to be admitted to Rome’s Gemelli Hospital on Tuesday, October 13, for surgery to remove a localized nodule in his lung.
⁣
We pray for his medical team and for a quick recovery for Pope Leo.

Advent by Candlelight is a special event designed for women of Transfiguration and their guests to refocus on the season of Advent – a precious time of waiting and anticipation. We will gather for light fare and desserts and take a break from the busyness of the season with reflections and music.
⁣
Table Hostesses are needed! Table Hostesses provide table settings, holiday-themed decorations, candles, and light fare/dessert for their table. Hostesses can partner with one or two other women to host a table and invite friends and family to make up a table of 8 women.
⁣
All Table Hostesses are asked to invite one or more women to your table who have not been there before.
⁣
Table reservations open on October 18.
⁣
Tables are limited, so sign up early to host a table. Contact Cindy McFadden for more information, ([email protected]) 678-223-7329.

Mary’s love is truly a selfless gift. She loved with her whole heart, humbly served others when they needed it most, and remained faithful amid suffering. She loved not just in the good times but in all times-even when it must have been unbearable heart ache.
Mary’s faithful presence and love throughout Jesus’ life in joyous occasions, witnessing miracles, and even during sorrowful times demonstrates her pure trust in and love for God. Our gift of love in good times and sorrowful times strengthens our faith and leads us closer to Christ.
Mary’s example of selfless love helps us to consider:
Do I remain faithful to God during the difficult times too?
How can I intentionally increase my faith and trust in God?
⁣
What can I do today to:
Love others with humility
Trust in God’s will
Be faithful during the most difficult times
⁣
Mary, help me to love as you loved with humility, compassion, and hope.
