Our15th Anniversary Activity quickly went to the shadiness of our beloved community 😊🤣😒

My heart was truly blessed as we intentionally set aside time today to celebrate and spend meaningful moments with 85 of our seasoned and senior saints. I wanted an opportunity to share a meal, fellowship, and express my appreciation for these precious members of our church family.

This gathering is one of the many 15/15/5 Pastoral Activities I will host as part of my Pastoral and Episcopal Anniversary celebration this year. The food, fellowship, and fun were simply unmatched! We laughed together, played games, shared affirmations, exchanged “Mattisms,” and reminisced about so many memorable moments.

What touched me most was reflecting on my mother and realizing how much our seniors benefit from the values, wisdom, and influence she poured into my life. Their love, encouragement, and support filled my heart in a special way today.

A special thank you to Ronnae and the entire team for an outstanding job. Your excellence helped make this experience truly memorable.

While many of our seniors may not attend the Bishop’s Ball this fall, I wanted to make sure we had our own special time together today. To all of our seasoned saints: your Pastor deeply appreciates you, and thank you for filling my love tank!

Today, we give thanks to God for our leaders, Bishop Matthew L. Brown and Supervisor Crystal Miller-Davis, whose selfless sacrifice, faithful service, and continual "Yes, Lord" inspire us all. May we be reminded, encouraged, and disciplined to renew our own commitment to God's call and purpose.
