"There is something happening," Norton said. "Finances have increased, attendance has increased, volunteering has increased, congregational willingness to change has increased, clergy health and well-being — we also see an increase there."

American churches are seeing renewed spiritual interest, especially among younger generations.

"The last few young people that I baptized are people that asked their parents," Pastor B. Charvez Russell said.

"We've seen people come to Christ for the first time," Pastor Levi Taylor said.

Local Church in Marietta, OH was the first church to ever launch out of the 99 Network orbit. They were planted in 2016, and today are led by Pastor Jessie Vaca. Last night Local Church (LChurch.org) gathered to pray in a bowling alley that will someday be the home where they’ll reach their community for Jesus.

The church is 400 people in attendance and growing far faster than their present building can handle. But the cost of getting into this bowling alley is overwhelming. Their story is similar to so many church plants we’ve worked with across the country. New churches are founded by passionate leaders, they grow significantly and lead tremendous numbers of people to Christ, and then they get stuck. They find themselves jammed up in facilities that can’t contain the move of God happening in their cities.

We’re solving this problem at the 99 Network. We are committed to accelerating church plants in three critical phases of their journeys. The third phase is what we call the “facilities crisis”. Our vision is to give young churches major financial gifts to help them get over the hill and rooted in the right long-term facilities.
