Lambs Journey, get ready! Tomorrow night, we are blessed to hear from a great woman of God, Minister Chaundra Pratt, and I am genuinely excited for what the Lord is going to speak through her.

Minister Pratt is a woman of prayer, faith, and a sincere love for God’s Word, and I believe there is something prepared for us in this teaching. I’m looking forward to sitting, listening, learning, and receiving right along with everyone else.

Happy Labor Day! Today is more than a day off… it’s a moment to honor the dignity of work, the sacrifices of working people, and the hands that help build our families, communities, and nation.

As believers, we’re reminded: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

May God bless every person who labors, serves, leads, provides, builds, teaches, protects, and cares for others. Your work matters, and your faithfulness is not unnoticed.

What an incredible honor to stand in such a legacy moment and preach the word God placed in my spirit: “The Geometry of Legacy.”

What a revelatory word for a moment that represented 45 years of faithfulness, sacrifice, obedience, ministry, and impact. I do not take it lightly to have been considered and called upon to have a word for this hour…not simply to celebrate a milestone, but to encourage a giant in the faith and the woman who has faithfully stood beside him.

Bishop Arthur Pierce and First Lady Lorraine Pierce, thank you for allowing me the privilege of speaking into such a sacred moment. My prayer was that the Word would strengthen, refresh, and remind you that what God has built through your lives is bigger than a celebration… it is a LEGACY.

And legacy has geometry: a foundation beneath us, lines connecting generations, angles that change direction, and dimensions that reach farther than we may ever live to see.

45 years later, the evidence is everywhere: God honored the YES.

I am humbled, grateful, and still processing the privilege of being trusted with the Word for this moment.

Day 2 of the 45th Year Celebration! 🙌🏾

What an incredible honor and privilege to witness 45 years of faithfulness, sacrifice, obedience, and steadfast leadership. What an example…and what an encouragement to those of us who are still building, serving, and answering the call of God.

He heard God, trusted God, and went where God sent him. Now, 45 years later, we can look around and see the fruit of a life that said YES.

What God has built through this ministry is nothing short of an Apostolic legacy…one that has impacted generations and will continue speaking long after the celebration is over.

I’m honored to be a part of this historic moment. 45 years is worthy of celebration!

What an honor and privilege to be invited to speak at such a tremendous milestone celebration!

🌿 Weekly Words of Wisdom | Pastor Dr. Jerry Thompson

“Stop asking God to change the season when He may be using the season to change you.”

📖 Scripture: “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” … James 1:2–3 (KJV)

We spend a lot of time praying, “Lord, get me out of this.” But sometimes heaven’s answer is, “I’m going to develop you while you’re in it.”

Not every difficult season is punishment. Some seasons are preparation.

The pressure is teaching you how to pray differently. The waiting is teaching you patience. The disappointment is teaching you where your confidence really belongs.
The resistance is building spiritual muscles you wouldn’t develop in comfortable places.

Think about it… God could have kept Daniel out of the lions den, but instead He demonstrated that He could keep Daniel while he was in it.

Sometimes the greater testimony isn’t, “God kept me from going through it.”

Sometimes the testimony is, “I went through it, but it didn’t change who I belonged to.” That is maturity.

Don’t allow a temporary season to produce a permanent attitude…. Don’t become bitter because life became difficult. Don’t stop worshiping because God didn’t move according to your timetable. Keep becoming like Jesus.

🎯 This Week’s Christ-Centered Challenge: Identify one situation you’ve been asking God to remove. This week, change your prayer. Pray, “Jesus, if You don’t change this immediately, show me what You’re developing in me through it.” Then intentionally practice what the season requires…. patience, forgiveness, discipline, courage, or deeper trust.

And remember this….. Some prayers change your circumstances. Other prayers change the person standing in the circumstances….and sometimes that is the greater miracle….

Stay faithful. Stay teachable. Stay close to Jesus.

You may not like the season, but don’t miss what God is growing in you because of it.
