Nutrition plays a major role in education, and at L'Exode, we provide lunch for our students every day. The corn in this meal is from our farm - Jubilee Farm. HCDF is focused on holistic development, and incorporating the farm into our schools is just one way we do that!⁠

Cheers to a prosperous 2022 as we begin this year! ⁠

As our school continues to grow, we are currently constructing apartment rooms and remodeling older areas to accommodate our teachers. This last year, we installed projectors and white boards in every secondary school classroom, and we built of a number of additional classrooms and a library. 100% of our students once again passed the required national test given to all 9th graders and 13th graders. ⁠

2022 will be an exciting year for HCDF, and we thank you for joining us as we continue to expand and develop Fond de Blancs!

Jubilee Farm 🇭🇹 The Haiti Christian Development Fund (HCDF) has been actively working in Fond-des-Blancs, Haiti since 1982 for the sole purpose of holistic community development in a rural Haitian community. With the beginning of every school year each student receives a new uniform. They just received their new batch. We are proud of each and everyone of our students and their parents. It is no small thing to put education as a priority and we are so thankful to them for choosing to be the change Haiti needs and the beauty of what Haiti is.
You can part of that change and beauty. We enroll over 1000 students a year at little to no cost to them. For $40 a month you can help support their education. Your pledge helps pay for uniforms, modernized classroom equipment, a hot meal every day, teacher salaries and more.

As Haiti continues the process of healing, the importance and relevance of our work is especially present in our Jubilee Farm. The farm initiative began shortly after the 2010 earthquake, and it has grown significantly. ⁠
⁠
The farm was able to provide around 6 tons of food to Les Cayes, the area hardest hit by the most recent and devastating earthquake. It can be easily proven that those tons of food may very well be one of the few provisions sourced, grown and provided from within Haiti and not imported from foreign soil.
