Sallie Baicar Wright passed away on April 19, 2026. She is with her Heavenly Father now. Sallie was a long time member of Marbury Baptist Church. She was big part of the music program for many years, including the adult choir and youth choir. Please remember Sallie's family in prayer, especially her daughters: Shari, Kari & Valri.

Wayne Paulk went to be with the Lord. Please join us in sending sympathy to Wayne's family and loved ones. Wayne spent many faithful years at Marbury Baptist Church, serving the Lord he loved in many positions, including as a choir member and a deacon. Wayne's service will be held at Marbury Baptist Church on March 26, 2026. The family is providing most of the meal for the repast. Anyone who would like to bring a side dish or dessert can drop it off in the fellowship hall after 9:30 a.m. on 3/26.

According to Wayne's obituary, visitation is from 9-11am, and the funeral service begins at 11am on March 26, 2026 at Marbury Baptist Church, 4670 Bicknell Road, Marbury, Maryland. Interment will be at 1 pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. After the burial, a repast will be held in the fellowship hall of Marbury Baptist Church at 2:00PM.
Floral remembrances, donations to the Marbury Baptist Church or online contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated. Flowers should be delivered to Marbury Baptist Church before services start at 9 am.
