Pastor Jeff gave us a powerful reminder Sunday: “The power isn’t in the prayers we pray; it’s in the God who hears our prayers.”

Prayer should be our first response to our circumstances and our first response to our sin. Why? Because prayer is an expression of trust in the God who hears us and in His miraculous power.

Whatever we’re facing, we can bring it to Him, knowing that our hope isn’t in the strength of our prayers, but in the strength of the One we’re praying to.

Sunday, we were reminded of a powerful truth:

“The reality of Christ’s return should motivate us to action now.” — Pastor Jeff Gangel

Jesus is coming again. And that reality isn’t meant to leave us standing still—it’s meant to move us.

To love.
To encourage.
To serve.
To do good.
To intentionally invest in the people God has placed around us.

Hebrews 10:24–25 reminds us to “motivate one another to acts of love and good works.”

Because we know He is coming, we have every reason to live with purpose today.

Let’s not just wait for Christ’s return.
Let’s let the reality of His return shape the way we live right now.

One Another Summer Series

Stop and pray.

It’s one of the things that makes Trinity, Trinity.

If you’ve been around Trinity for any length of time, you’ve probably seen this lived out. Prayer isn’t something we simply schedule or save for a difficult moment. It’s something we do right here, right now, with one another.

Sometimes that means stopping in the middle of a conversation to pray with someone. Sometimes it means putting a hand on a shoulder, sharing a burden, or simply taking a moment to bring something before the Lord.

We stop.
We pray.
We pray for one another.

Because sometimes the most important thing we can do for someone is simply stop and pray.

As our One Another Summer Series continues, this past Sunday we talked about Forgiving One Another.

Forgiven people are forgiving people.

Because we have been forgiven through Christ, we are called to forgive others—even when reconciliation doesn’t happen.

“Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Colossians 3:13

What is a church?

It’s a group of imperfect people who have found their common ground in Jesus Christ. It’s sinners who are thankful for God’s grace, ordinary people who have found their place in the Body of Christ, and people learning to love God and serve others.

Trinity began with a small Bible study group in Big Canoe with a vision for a church centered on God’s Word, active in the community, and reaching the world.

Today, that same mission continues.

We’re here to worship God, grow in His Word, build meaningful relationships, and serve the cause of Christ.

This is Trinity. A place to worship, grow, serve, and belong. ❤️

Everyone carries burdens, but God never intended for us to carry them by ourselves.

This past Sunday, we continued our One Another series by looking at Galatians 6:1–5. It reminds us to gently restore those who have wandered, carry one another's burdens, and walk in humility as we care for others. True biblical community isn't about judgment—it's about loving people well while pointing them to Christ.

Who in your life could use a word of encouragement, a helping hand, or someone to simply walk alongside them this week?

"Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2
