Tomorrow is our monthly potluck luncheon after the morning service. The worship service is at 11 am and our Bible study is at 10 am. The lesson for the adult auditorium class is “Prediction of Peter’s Denial” (Matthew 26:31-35; Mark 14:27-31; Luke 22:31-38; John 13:31-38) from our series on The Gospel.

The mid-week Bible study of Ezekiel is from chapter 29-30:19, “A Prophecy and Lament for Egypt” Wednesday September 9th at 7 pm.

When you hear the word curriculum, you may think of textbooks, lectures, assignments and tests. But educator John Dewey had a much broader understanding of education. His approach can be summarized as experience-based, learner-centered, continuous growth, and active interaction.
In other words, education isn't simply about acquiring information. What we learn changes how we think, how we act, and how we interact with others.

Hebrews was written to encourage Christians in the first century who were facing many trials and persecutions. It continues to speak to us today.
