Until your old age, I am he, and until you have gray hair, I myself will hold you up. I myself made you, and I myself will lift you up. I myself will hold you up, and I will rescue you. - Isaiah 46:4 (Evangelical Heritage Version)
As I age, several changes happen in my life. My legs grow weak, and I can easily stumble and fall. My hair begins to thin, and it turns gray. But you, Lord, never change. You are always near me. Although I may still physically fall, you are always there to catch me when I fall spiritually. You rescue me from the devil, the world, and my own sinful self. Carry me in your loving arms until I reach my heavenly goal where I will never stumble again. I ask this for Jesus' sake. Amen.
