Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. - Psalm 25:6,7 NIV

In your great love, O Lord, you have shown me mercy. When I was young and rebelled, you forgave me. In my old age, your love for me has grown even greater. When my sins recur, forgive me for your Son's sake. In the peace of that forgiveness, open my heart to praise you all my days. Amen.

For whatever reason, O Lord, I find myself setting out on my own, thinking I have all the answers. When I fail, I become confused because I think I know best. Open my eyes to see that without you, all my plans will fail. When I seek you first, success is sure to follow. When my plans go off course, gently guide me back to you, in whom all plans succeed. Amen.

I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. — Ephesians 3:17-19

Dear Lord, I pray for those who know you and are deeply rooted in your love, that they may be strengthened in your love. Help them to know you more fully. Comfort them with the knowledge that you are with them at all times. I pray for those who do not yet know you. Open their eyes and hearts that they may see in you the true source of love and peace. Send your Spirit to move their hearts to understand the life you lived for them and the sacrifice you made for all on the cross. Give us all a thirst for your grace. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Just as David faithfully led your people, O Lord, raise up leaders in your church to faithfully lead your flock. Give your leaders a sense of compassion, a mind of wisdom, and a heart of love. In the name of Jesus, our example of true leadership, I ask this. Amen.

The earth and everything in it belong to you, O Lord. The heavens in all their majesty are yours. You speak, and the world responds. In all your creation, there is nothing that isn't guided by your almighty hand. If that were all, you would deserve all my praise. But you have rescued me from the clutches of the evil one. By the sacrifice of your Son, I no longer fear the punishment I deserve. For this, I will thank you with all my being. I long for the day when I will be with all the saints in your heavenly kingdom. Use my earthly life as a thank offering for providence. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, in the stillness of this moment, I lift my hands to you, longing for your presence to fill me as I seek your guidance. Just as the psalmist declared, I thirst for you. In the parched wasteland of my heart, let your living water flow. Lord, I surrender my worries and fears to you. Let your spirit lead me toward peace and hope. Refresh my soul, renew my strength, and light the path you desire for me. As I wait in expectation, help me to trust in your perfect timing. May my heart align with your will and find comfort in the depths of your love. Amen.
