Life long believers as well as those who may have never heard the Gospel can benefit from these hands on practical tools taught in this class. All of our coaches have been certified to teach Basic Archery Instruction by NASP, a nationally recognized program that stresses safety and positive teaching. Archers of all skill levels will learn the "11 steps to Archery Success". This concept was written
by US Olyimpic Archery coach Tim Strickland. Archery equipment needed for this program will be provided by Centershot Highland. Bows , arrows, and targets have been designed to work together to provide a safe, quality shooting experience. Our eight Flight study called "The Plan" meets on Tuesday evenings for eight weeks and are about 90 minutes per Flight. The first hour will be spent on the Archery range with the remaining time being spent discussing our devotion for the week and how we can use it in our everyday lives. Due to the size of our range class size is limited to 12 shooters. Parents are encouraged to participate as well.Recomended age is 10 however we have enough equipment for 1 or 2 shooters per flight age 8 or older. Please speak to the Range Master for availability. Pre-registraton is required. A Range Master will be assigned to register shooters and direct each Flight. Classes will be announced in the Highland Happenings as well as on this Facebook site between 4 and 6 weeks in advance.
