Leader: Come, Holy Spirit! Be with us today.
All: Help us to boldly proclaim that Christ is Risen! Amen

Memory Verse – John 15:16 NIV (Ask congregation to say together)
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit that will last – and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

Acts 2:36-47 NIV
Therefore, let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah. When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles. Brothers, what shall we do? Peter replied, repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for
all who are far off – for all whom the Lord our God will call. With many other words, he warned them, and he pleaded with them, Save yourselves from this corrupt generation. Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

This is the word of God for the people of God. (Thanks be to God). Please stand if you can join in our prayer of dedication, doxology over our financial gifts, and hymn of reflection.

Gracious God, we humbly ask You to bestow upon us the gifts of Your Holy Spirit. Grant us wisdom to make good choices, understanding to see others through Your eyes, counsel to guide
our paths, and strength to stand firm in our faith. Fill our lives with Your peace, patience, and joy.
Amen.

Call to Worship –

Leader: Come, beloved of God, turn away from evil and do what is good.
All: We will seek peace and pursue it with all our hearts.
Leader: The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their
prayers.

Leader: Even if we suffer for doing what is right, we are blessed.
All: We will not fear or be troubled, for the Lord is our refuge and strength.
Leader: Let us worship the God who calls us to live with gentleness, reverence, and
steadfast hope.
All: We come to glorify the One who is holy, trusting Him in all things.

Memory Verse – John 15:16 NIV (Ask congregation to say together)
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit that will last – and so that whatever you ask in my name, the Father will give you.

1 Peter 3:11-17 NIV
They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what if right, you are blessed. Do not fear their threats, do not be frightened. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an
answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. For it is
better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
This is the word of God for the people of God. (Thanks be to God).

Please stand if you are able to join in our prayer of dedication, doxology over our financial gifts, and hymn of reflection.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the unique gifts, talents, and skills You have planted within me. I acknowledge that they are not mine alone, but entrusted to me to carry out Your work and shine
