Good lessons from Deuteronomy 8 yesterday; whether you find yourself in the trials of life or the times of ease, we're called to REMEMBER the Lord. Throughout your day, REMEMBER the Lord today.
Verse 2: "And you shall remember all the ways which the Lord your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not."
Verse 10: "When you have eaten and are satisfied, you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you. Beware lest you forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments..."

Worship isn't intended to be a Sunday concert with lights down and attendees passively watching while the talented perform. Worship isn't intended to be a curated emotional experience.
Instead, the words of Michael Horton describe how the gathered church can worship through corporate singing, the preaching of God's Word, and corporate prayer. Find a church this weekend and participate in the corporate worship of our great God.
