Pastor Diego challenged us in the Old Testament on Sunday; we heard from many who were encouraged! Seek the Lord, be in the Word to hear from the Lord, and then worship in thankfulness for God's response. Be the church this week in the place God has you.

Reminder of our Ice Cream Social Monday night! 7pm at the church. We will enjoy an evening of fellowship and listen to Modern Day Mountain Man, Billy Molls, who is the evening speaker at the Cedar Falls Bible Conference. It will be too hot to be outside, so come get ice cream!

Thank you, church family, for the picnic after service today. It was good fellowship, nice weather, and quite a spread of food! We're so thankful for Scott filling the pulpit over the last few months; wishing God's best to Scott and Annette on their new calling! God is at work!

Thank you to Dr Jimo for challenging us yesterday from Philippians 1: we are here to be a light in a dark place even if we are in the midst of difficult circumstances. We can live joyfully and on mission! Amen and Amen!
