Tonight at Life Support was a powerful and emotional evening as we talked about the life-changing kindness of God and how true kindness sees the people others often overlook.

Through Romans 2:4, we were reminded that it is God’s kindness that leads us to repentance. Then, through the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:33-34, we saw that real kindness doesn’t walk away from brokenness—it steps into the pain of others with compassion, grace, and love.

Tonight, the room was filled with honesty, vulnerability, tears, and hope. People shared their struggles, recovery journeys, past hurts, and life challenges. One truth became clear: kindness reaches places that criticism never can.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared, listened, and encouraged one another. Your story matters, and you do not have to walk alone.

If you are facing addiction, recovery, past incarceration, loneliness, depression, or simply need a place to belong, please know there is hope. There is healing. There is a community that cares. And most importantly, there is a God who is not finished with your story.

🚗 LICC Mobile Mechanic Ministry 🚗

Today, we had the opportunity to help one of our church members with their 2011 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle had multiple issues, including a heavily damaged bumper and brake problems. We repaired the bumper and completed a brake job to get them back on the road safely.

At LICC Mobile Mechanic Ministry, we believe serving people is one way we share the love of Christ. Every repair is an opportunity to make a difference. 🔧🚗❤️

At Life in Christ Church, one of our core values is that we love God’s Word.

Tonight at LICC Discipleship Ministry, we continued our study through Matthew chapter 6.

In tonight’s passage, Jesus continues to address the motives behind our service, prayer, and fasting. In all that we do, we do it for God—and our reward comes from Him. Ultimately, it is a matter of the heart and our motives.

We then spent time discussing the treasures we store up and the things we choose to serve. In this life, the world tells us to chase material possessions and temporary things that will one day fade away. But Christ calls us to pursue that which is eternal—the good works and Kingdom treasures that last forever.

Lastly, we reflected on what it means for the eye to be the lamp of the body. In a world constantly competing for our hearts, minds, and spirits through what we consume, we must intentionally fill ourselves with what is good, holy, and eternal, so that our lives may radiate the hope and light of Christ.

We are committed to raising disciples who don’t just attend church, but who understand Scripture, ask real questions, and grow deeply in Christ.

So thankful for everyone who came tonight. Let’s keep growing together.

What a fun-filled day of fishing, fellowship, laughter, and making memories together. Grateful for all the men who came out and enjoyed the day. Looking forward to next year!

Tonight at Life Support Group, we spent time discussing a simple but powerful question:

“What Would Jesus Do?”

We learned that following Jesus is more than just believing in Him—it means living like Him every day.

Some of the key lessons we talked about were:

• Walk Like Jesus (1 John 2:6)
If we claim to follow Jesus, our lives should reflect His character through love, kindness, forgiveness, and obedience to God.

• Turn the Other Cheek (Matthew 5:39)
Jesus teaches us not to respond to hurt with more hurt. Instead of seeking revenge, we can choose forgiveness, peace, and self-control.

• Love Others Like Jesus Loves Us (John 13:34-35)
The world should be able to see Jesus through the way we treat people. Love is more than words—it is demonstrated through our actions.

One of the biggest takeaways from tonight was this:

Before we speak, react, or make a decision, we should ask ourselves, “What would Jesus do?”

We also celebrate that one young lady gave her life to Jesus Christ tonight! There is no greater miracle than seeing someone place their faith in Christ and begin a new life in Him. We thank God for His saving grace and for what He is continuing to do through this ministry.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared, listened, and encouraged one another. It was a powerful night of faith, recovery, support, and spiritual growth.

At Life in Christ Church, one of our core values is that we love God’s Word.

Tonight at LICC Discipleship Ministry, we finally wrapped up Matthew Chapter 5.

In the final passages of the chapter, Jesus brings His teachings together with this powerful command: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). This is how we are called to live as disciples and followers of Christ—overcoming evil with good.

We then took time to reflect on the entire chapter, thinking about the people and situations in our lives, and challenged one another to pray for others and love them the way Jesus taught in tonight’s reading and discussion.

We are committed to raising disciples who don’t just attend church, but who understand Scripture, ask real questions, and grow in Christ.

So thankful for everyone who came tonight. Let’s keep growing.
