Sterling Church and Cemetery

Sterling Church and Cemetery The Sterling Church is located in a wooded area immediately adjacent to the Sterling
Cemetery in Sterling Township, located between Mapleton & Amboy, MN.

The Sterling Church and Cemetery is significant as a surviving rural community structure and burial grounds. The church building was constructed in 1867 and was originally located near the current day Fischer Farm. It was moved in 1903 by means of horse power and capstan. A Memorial Day program is held every year in the church. Refreshments and fellowship follow with all welcome. For more information, please feel free to contact any township board member.
