Happy Resurrection Sunday!

🌅✝️ He Is Risen! ✝️🌅

Today we celebrate the true meaning of Easter—a powerful reminder of God’s love, grace, and victory over sin and death. After the pain of the cross, Jesus rose on the third day, fulfilling His promise and giving us the gift of eternal life.

Easter is more than a holiday—it is the foundation of our faith. It reminds us that no matter how dark things may seem, there is always hope, renewal, and new life through Christ. The empty tomb is proof that God’s power is greater than any struggle we face, and His love never fails.

At Lees Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, we rejoice in the resurrection and the promise it brings. Because He lives, we are forgiven. Because He rose, we are free. Because of His sacrifice, we have the opportunity for a new beginning.

🙌 We want to hear from YOU! 🙌

✨ Lees Chapel Missionary Baptist Church – Inspirational Post of the Day, Saturday, January 17, 2026✨

This weekend we honor the life, legacy, and faith-filled leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A man who dared to dream, stood firmly on God’s Word, and reminded us that faith without action is incomplete. Dr. King believed that love could drive out hate, light could overcome darkness, and unity could transform a nation.

Dr. King’s words still echo today from the March on Washington, reminding us of God’s call to justice:

“We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

📖 Scripture:

“Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
— Amos 5:24 (KJV)

The same God who gave Dr. King the courage to stand is calling us to stand today—stand for justice, walk in love, and serve one another with humility and compassion. Let us not only remember his dream, but live it through Christ.

💭 Let’s have some fun & engage! Answer in the comments below:
1️⃣ What does “living the dream” look like in your everyday walk with Christ?
2️⃣ How can the Church today help make justice and righteousness “roll down” in our communities?

🖤🤍💙 Let’s honor Dr. King not just with words, but with faith, love, service, and unity.

📣 Please post your answers in the comments section—we want to hear from you!
