“God doesn’t deny the facts. But God outranks them.”

God keeps handing us a way forward, and we keep answering, “But God...” I’m the weakest. I have too much baggage. I can’t handle it right now.
What makes our pushback so convincing is that it’s usually partly true. Gideon’s clan may well have been the weakest. But God knew that when He called him a mighty warrior. He knows your weaknesses, your pain, and how unfair it all is, and He still calls you to be a witness.
