If you don’t follow a command given, are you in disobedience? Yes. That is the state of many followers of Jesus Christ today. Why? Because to love means forgiveness, grace, mercy, being respectful, compassionate and giving of yourself. To love is not being manipulative, have an abusive verbal or physical behavior and attitude. To love is not my ways only. To love is not my words are more important than yours. The Bible says that to love is humility, to pray for one another, is submission, is caring and is willingness to share with others. Again Jesus gave us a command for us to do with every person while we live in this world. Even Jesus say to love our enemies in the Bible. Are you obeying the command of Jesus?

Fundraising Committee looking for suggestions on types of fundraisers to engage in. Creating a enclosed cook area at the pavilion is one project needing funding or donations of materials and labor.

God has many expectations of us his children’s. God doesn’t want for us to live the way we want and to obey when we want to. The truth is that God wants for us take the Word and learn from it to do good, be just, love Him and love others and to be humble in every aspect of our life. When you gave your life to Jesus now you belong to God and God expects and desires for you to live in obedience, in commitment, in submission and faithfulness. Are you doing or at least trying to do what God expects of you every day?

Fervent (intense) Covers (conceal) Our love for one another should be purposely intense to the point that the sins can stay conceal between each other to help the brother or sister in Christ deal with the sin without shame and condemnation from each others. So often we run to condemn instead of giving the opportunity to help that fellow believer with the sin they are dealing with. Love doesn’t promote sin nor is permissible of it. But love always gives grace and forgiveness and try to always help first and encourage to stop sinning purposely, willfully and intentionally.

There are times when we have struggles in our life and some of those struggles can be very hard and frustrating. There is even moments when those struggles are with our own self, our mind and flesh. What we must realize and have the faith is that we are not alone in this struggles. We don’t have to live defeated and confused because we think and believe we have no one to help us. Has God ever forgotten you? Has God ever forsaken you? Does God fulfill his promises? So remember that God is right there with you and for you. Even with your own shortcomings, struggles, failures, temptation and many other things God is right there with you.

There will be times that you and I will face some deep waters in our life meaning some big issues that will seem impossible to overcome. There will be some rivers with rough waters that will be hard to cross meaning some problems that will test our faith in the Lord and then there will be some fires and flames meaning temptation and trials that we will experience fear and doubts. Notice what the Word says. God will be with you and for you. God will protect you and encourage you, will cover you and rescue you from all the evil that comes your path. What must you do when facing enormous obstacles, challenges and threats? Trust, believe and have faith in what is written in the Word of God.

When we talk about love in today days we have the wrong perception about what love truly is. Love specifically the love of God is not a permit to do what we want. Love is not an excuse to fulfill the fleshly desires of our hearts and thoughts of our minds. Love is a decision that involves emotions, feelings and actions. Notice the negative of love and the positive of love in the verse. Which one is more preeminent in you? For example, If you are an arrogant person. In other words you care more about you than others, you know everything, you are never wrong, everything has to be done your way, basically no one can tell you nothing than you are arrogant. Where is the love of God in you? The love of God in us makes us humble, submissive and faithful to follow Gods Word the best way we can.
