There is a difference between appreciating God and standing in awe of Him. One is circumstantial. The other changes everything.

As Paul writes in Romans 11:33, the depth of God's wisdom and knowledge is unsearchable. That kind of God deserves more than our gratitude. He deserves our awe.

Are you living like a weather vane or a compass? A weather vane spins whichever way the wind blows. A compass always points north. As followers of Christ, no matter which direction culture drifts, we never stop pointing to Jesus.

The gospel is God's message, not ours. We are simply the messengers. And we can be both kind and truthful at the same time, just as Jesus was described in John 1:14 as being full of grace and truth.

Are you so busy working FOR God that you have forgotten to simply BE with Him? That is the question at the heart of this week's message from Luke 10:38-42 -- the story of Martha and Mary.

This week, ask yourself -- when is the last time you chose the good portion?

In Matthew 17:19-20, the disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast out a demon. His answer was not about the strength of what they faced. It was about their faith. That truth hits hard. The mountains in our lives do not move because of our effort. They move because of our faith in an unfailing God.

Do not settle for more of the same. Press in for more of Him.
