UPDATE FROM CLIFF! 5/19

Good evening - they removed another 850ml of fluid from Dan’s left lung today. He said he’s feeling the best he has felt in months! We had an early dinner and are now working on preparing invites for a party we’re planning for Sunday June 21st. We know it’s also Father’s Day…but we’re hoping that schedules will allow for you to make it for this celebration too. More details will be shared later, but we wanted to get the date out there to allow planning time.
Such good news! Thank you God!❤️🙏❤️

Newest Update from Cliff. ❤️❤️UPDATE FROM CLIFF, 5/18/26:

It has been a full day - we had the initial appointment with our new oncologist and feel really good with him. Started our next course of chemo, and have now had fluid drained (1.4 liters) from Dan’s right lung. We will return tomorrow to extract the fluid from the left. We continue to reflect on how blessed we are in so many ways…our care team is extraordinary!
Let’s keep those prayers coming for Dan and Cliff. ❤️🙏❤️

Regarding the most recent update about Dan that was just posted: Cliff wanted to add a few clarifying comments:

“While it is true that it has been a challenging week, the statement that “it isn’t good news” sends an inaccurate and misleading message. The truth and facts are that Dan has a serious illness and we’re managing all facets of this journey with a very knowledgeable and supportive care team. We expect good days and difficult days as part of the process - overall we continue to feel optimistic and hopeful with both the treatment and the future.”

It’s been a couple weeks since we’ve had an update on Pastor Dan and it’s not good news. 🥲. He’s had a tough couple weeks with still being nauseous and now with his lungs filling up with fluid. They had hoped the chemo would help that, but obviously it’s not. He has his next chemo treatment on Monday 5/18. Please send up some extra prayers for Dan and Cliff, as this has been so hard on both of them. Hugs to them from all of us! ❤️❤️

UPDATE FROM CLIFF, from Friday, 5/15/26:

So today was a challenging day - we were in the ER this morning and it was determined that there is fluid accumulation in both of Dan’s lungs. We have appointments scheduled for both Monday and Tuesday to address that, but in the meantime they’re wanting him to be pretty much on bed rest. Thanks for keeping him/us in your thoughts and prayers.

Just received word that Sandy Alley passed this morning. Sandy was an angel 😇to so many of us and now she’s with all the angels in heaven along with her family and all her pets. Please keep Sandie Carsey and Lin Alley in your prayers. 🙏💔

Hello - Dan had another thoracentesis (fluid removed from his lungs) on Friday and has felt significantly better since. It has been low key lately and we are so grateful for the many ways we are able to celebrate each day. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers!

We have had issues with YouTube sadly, where it cuts out and we’ve lost the service and people can’t get on, so we may be returning only to Facebook for our services. Hopefully we can get this issue resolved. We apologize for this frustration.

Here is the obituary for our dear sweet Dominic. He will be so missed every Sunday in all his Harley Davidson shirts! Have a great ride in heaven Dom! 🏍️.
His services are this Saturday April 11th. A gathering of family and friends will be from 12-3 pm at the Life Celebration Reception Center at 129 S Main St, then his memorial service will be at 3 pm. 💔
