2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
February 18th, March 14th, March 20th, April 5th. Each of these dates sets a milestone, a marker, as we move forward in life. Like birthdays and anniversaries, we look forward to a set date, using these as a markers for what is next in life.
2nd Corinthians reminds us that we are in Christ, He is our refuge, He is our guide. We trust and believe in His way. Many times, we look forward to different events, we yearn for this or that to happen on our time. God gives us the ability to be patient, to know when things will happen in our lives in His time. Scripture is where we look. Prayers is our outlet to talk with our Lord and Savior. Honoring our Lord and Savior as a Community of Faith.
As we look forward to Ash Wednesday, First day of Spring, Easter. These are the benchmarks to get us closer to the beautiful, warm days of Spring. The Easter Promise as well, the promised days of God’s creation coming to life. God Bless, Stay safe as these cold brisk wind continue. Hopefully the snow has ceased. Pleas continue cherishing God’s given Creation. Amen

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. Nahum 1:7
Yesterday, was a cold brisk day, yer we all were preparing for the storm we are witnessing today. That is how the weather seemed to be before the blizzard of 1993. Without the weather report that day many years ago, we would have never known a storm was brewing. Today, we are safe and comfortable, knowing we are prepared, able to watch as the beautiful blanket of snow falls today.
The scripture from Nahum 1, reminds us to take refuge in the Lord, when storms are brewing. We will be watched over, we can find comfort. Please know that as we weather any storm that comes our way, we as children of God are protected as long as we trust in Him. God Bless, stay safe. Enjoy this Sunday and Thank you for all the prayers and Praise God for peace and harmony at work. Amen

With the impending storm heading our way, we remember to keep safe, check in on our neighbors and continue to pray for peace as we look to the scripture of Genesis 8:22
“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
And cold and heat,
And summer and winter,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”
As Genesis 8 reminds us, in due season, what God created. The earth remains, the cold weather we are experiencing now, will leave soon. For God’s creation, the cold is needed to help the variety of plant bulbs, vegetable bulbs and others for the cycle of germination to evolve.
We are God’s children, sometimes many people do not like Cold, Snowy weather, yet our promise of warm, sunny days are always ahead with this scripture of Genesis 8, and also Ecclesiastes 3 as well. God promises us His glory of the earth, each and every day. Enjoy His creation with the beauty of snow that we are about to receive, knowing beneath the snow is God’s creation awaiting to bring new life in the Spring. God Bless, stay safe and Enjoy, each day to its fullest. Keep warm and safe this weekend during this upcoming storm. Amen

Mark 14:38
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh .
Mark reminds us that the spirit within us know what is best.
Good morning. Take time to look to the sky to enjoy the beautiful clouds, the patterns they make, then as the light dims as the sun sets, enjoy the moon and stars in God’s awesome creations, instead of looking to the thermometer to warm your hearts. This Sunday, we will talk about the Light of God's Love as Jesus calls the Disciples. God Bless, Amen

“Let us not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up” (Galatians 6:9).
“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him” (James 1:12).
This cold snowy Monday, we ponder on both these scriptures. We are in the midst of winter, the cold temperatures predicted to plunge lower than normal for this time of year. With these changes, our patience is tested. We sometimes do not know what to do or say.
Years ago, when I wanted to learn to ride the big kids bike, I took the training wheels off. I can do this, was my attitude. What I learned was starting out turned to be the easy part. Keeping the balance, the steady straight path was the hardest lesson to learn. Each time I looked around, each time I felt “too” comfortable, that is when I lost the focus.
We find ourselves this way, when we lose focus of what the real prize is. We want this or that to happen now, yet we need to remind ourselves what these scriptures tell us. Know that God is in control. God is the one that will let us know in due time, what He wants us to do.
God Bless, stay warm, safe and know God is with us. Again please be careful and check on your neighbors during this predicted cold, windy weather. Amen.

On this cool Sunday, as we continue to journey towards last part of the month of January, we pause, reflecting on the 1st part of the month. Reflecting on what came our way and knowing the promise given to us for a brighter future.
January can be a cold, windy month, yet God truly reminds us that we are blessed everyday of our life.
Romans 15:13 reminds us: May the God of Hope fill you with all the Joy and Peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
That spirit is instilled in us each of our days.
Have a wonderful Sunday, a safe week, knowing we have the Hope, and Love of God always. God calls each of us by name, to do His work as His Disciples. God Bless. Stay warm. Amen

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
The winds of change have come our way on this Halloween day. The cool, frosty morning yesterday and now this morning, a windy, cool morning we awakened to, reminds us of our lives. Things change and we look to our Lord and Savior knowing that He is always with us. God is our comfort and Psalm 23 is the one reason we cannot move forward in life without the awesome God who never stops Loving us. God Bless, enjoy this Friday, be ready for whatever comes our way as November rolls in tomorrow. Continue to pray for peace in the world. Have a wonderful weekend. Amen

Proverbs 3:21-23
My son, never lose sight of God’s wisdom and knowledge: make decisions out of true wisdom, guard your good sense. And they will be life to your soul and fine jewelry around your neck. Then each one of your steps will land securely on your life’s journey, and you will not trip or fall
As we get closer to the end of this month, we pause to give thanks for what we have. Many times, we look back on what has happened throughout the year or what we missed when we got going too fast in life, not taking care of business or family. That is when we realize that at times, we got so busy, we forgot our vision, our focus of what we have right in our midst. On this Foggy, Cool Tuesday, the Proverbs reminds us to never lose sight of what God has blessed us with, even when we have not been able to see with the heavy Fog the last few days. Never take for granted your blessings given and received. God is good, all the time. Praise God. Amen

October 17, 2025
As we get closer to the weekend on this cool, frosty Friday, we focus on the scripture from
Ecclesiastes 3: 9-13 What do workers gain from their
toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
Every day is a gift from God. How we use our gifts and talents to help others is a way we can honor God as disciples of Jesus Christ. Some days can be a struggle as you deal with meeting’s, deadlines, and hardships. Scripture reminds us that we can always find satisfaction in our daily lives as long as we have the faith. Again, pray for peace and harmony for the world. God Bless. Amen

Hebrews 11:1 By Faith, is the assurance of things hoped for, the convictions of things not seen.
Today, as we are already halfway through the month, this scripture helps speak to life as we navigate our daily lives. We each make goals, looking to complete each task by faith that all will go as planned. The thing is the things not seen we need to prepare for them. Our time of fall planting is underway. We plant the Garlic Bulbs, the rye seed that will winter over till spring. We can not see them going, yet we have the faith they will be alive in the spring. We continue to live on prayer.
God knows what needs to be done, we need to have the Faith that His plan is what we need to follow. He sees the end result; we just need to follow as directed to know the things unseen are all going as planned. Enjoy this beautiful Wednesday. God Bless

Romans 5:3-5
3 Not only so, but we[a] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Years ago, when I was on a sports team, the coach stated that either you be at all practices, or you are off the team. I, the strong, energetic farmer knew everything. I took the easy way out, being off the team just because I wanted 1 week away from practice. Instead of listening to the coach’s advice of balancing what was expected of me and what I wanted. . To this day, I still wish I had listened to his advice. Yet, you learn to live life to it's fullest, move forward not looking back.
Romans 5 reminds us that taking the easy way out does not help us have the Faith to endure anything that comes our way. God’s Love is always in our hearts. That is why people give us advice because they care. Thank God for all you do and thank you coach for caring. Amen
