*First Sunday of Advent Candle of HOPE
Advent means the arrival, the appearance of a notable person or a great event! So our hearts are filled with hope and anticipation as we wait for the coming of Jesus Christ, the king of kings.
The Wise Men saw signs that foretold Jesus’ first coming years ago.
Today we don’t look for brilliant star in the East to follow.
We look for the signs foretold by the scriptures about Jesus second coming. Do you know those signs? Read Matthew 24 and Luke 21.
He said do not panic when you see them happening. But watch and pray! So stay occupied by winning souls for the kingdom; feeding the hungry; healing the sick; clothing the naked; caring for the poor and the hurting; working for justice and righteousness at home and abroad. stay alert and ready, don't be deceived. Wait for the coming of Jesus with Hope! He is coming soon.🙏💝
