This verse is taken from the story of Christ's crucifixion, Jesus has died, the curtain has torn, the tombs were open, there was an earthquake and after all of that people starting realizing that Jesus was in fact the Son of God.

Are you denying Christ as the Son of God? If so, why?

Some good news for those still questioning...it's not too late! If we go back to the story of Christ's crucifixion we see a beautiful part of this story where a thief who was being crucified alongside Jesus received salvation while he was on the cross (yes, ON the cross) and Jesus said to him "this day you WILL be in heaven with me!"

So, are you denying Christ? Why? If you do nothing else today take a few moments and get quiet, really quiet, and listen for the voice of God he might just be asking you to recognize his Son and receive the gift of salvation!

They did an amazing job and we could not be any more proud of them!

Quizzers who earned a silver rating (second highest rating): Elam & Selena
Quizzers who earned a gold rating (highest rating): McKynzie, Madison, Layton, Preston, Zada

All of our quizzers did so well this year and we’re already excited for next year.

Keep these kiddos and their families in prayer as they travel to regional Bible quizzing this weekend. Competing in regionals is an honor they’ve worked very hard to earn! Pray for safe travels, fun to be had, calm minds and nerves, and more importantly for this weekend to be Christ-filled for everyone involved.

They have worked so hard learning their Bible verses and going over quizzing questions. We have no doubt they will represent Mansfield Nazarene well!

Layton, Mckynzie, Madison, Preston, Elam, Selena & Zada-you’ve got this!! We’re cheering you on from afar and can’t wait to hear the results!
