Faithfulness is a big deal to God. The Old Testament is full of examples of God demonstrating His unwavering love and faithfulness to the descendants of Father Abraham. God consistently fulfills His promises. Like His Father, while Jesus walked this earth, Jesus taught us the profound importance of responding to God’s love and kindness with our own faithfulness.

Faithfulness Is A big deal to God! :10
Luke16:10 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. 11 And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? 12 And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?13 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.”

*Paul ends his first letter to Corinth, by telling them to put these words into action!
It’s our turn to respond to God’s love Through Faithfulness

1. Give Generously! “Support Others in Need”
Worship God with Your Treasure!
:1-3

2. Serve Graciously! “Help Others in Need”
Worship God with Your Talents!
:4-12

3. Love Faithfully! Strengthen Others in Need”
Worship God with Your Time!

Have you ever sat down with a financial planner, a fitness instructor, or a nutritionist? If you're struggling in any one of these areas, it’s always a great idea to sit down with these kinds of professionals. The challenge, however, is that their advice is only temporary. As we keep reading through 1 Corinthians chapter 15, Paul reminds us to keep our priorities focused on the day after tomorrow ends. Paul encourages us to take the advice Jesus gave us in Matthew 16.
“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

Paul shared this truth with the church in Corinth

1. In the Last Days Those in Christ Will Live Again | 1 Corinthians 15:35-45

2. In the Last Days Those in Christ Will Look & Act Like Him | 1 Corinthians 15:46-49

3. In the Last Days Those Alive in Christ Will Live With Him Forever | 1 Corinthians 15:50-58

4. In the Last Days Those Not Found in Christ Will Face Eternal Judgment | Revelation 20:11-15

Because Jesus is alive! These words are among the most significant and powerful truths you’ll hear today. All who put their faith in Jesus can rejoice forever, because like Jesus, we too will only fall asleep for only a moment, and then like Jesus we will live again.

Jesus said that His followers would one day, do even greater works than He did when He walked this earth. After Jesus’ resurrection, He began pouring out His Spirit on His church. It was at this time that the apostles and the early disciples received the first outpouring of the spiritual gifts that Jesus had promised. Sadly, believers in Corinth used these gifts completely out of order. In the second half of this chapter, Paul lovingly corrects the Corinthian church & gives us a clear blueprint for worshiping God in spirit & truth. As modern-day believers, we must strive to use this same blueprint in our corporate worship today.

Before Jesus poured His spirit out on his disciples, in the 14th chapter of John, Jesus said that His followers would one day, do even greater works than He did when He walked this earth.
