“The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! Habakkuk 3:19 AMPC
Habakkuk 3:19 is a declaration that God Himself becomes your strength and lifts you to a higher place than you could ever reach on your own.
When God elevates you, He elevates you from sin not to sin. He lifts us out of the pit. When He delivers you, He delivers you from darkness, not to be a partaker of darkness.
I see so many who say they are followers of Christ, but they really are followers of themselves. They partake in things that the Word tells us not to do but they ignore it. They have experiences that they say are God but then go and partake in sin immediately after. That is not God. He takes you into His high places of intimacy. It is a holy place. When you’ve been with the King, the Redeemer, the Healer and the Deliverer, then you smell like Him, you carry Him and people can see the fruit of you truly being in His Presence. It spills over in every area of your life.
Question of the day: who is elevating you. Is it people, yourself, a movement or God the Father?
It should be God the Father and when He elevates you, you can see the fruit of it.
Fruit of the Spirit is:
