Sometimes it’s hard for me (Pastor Maddie) to accept that you will never fully know what happens around this sacred table unless you are here to experience it for yourself.
Last night, we gathered, despite life circumstances and struggles and we entered into conversation about how to become more like Jesus (doing John Mark Comer’s Practicing the Way Course 🙌🏽🎉).
We had things planned.
But so did the Holy Spirit ✨
We heard challenges + confessions. People declaring freedom over secret sins + struggles. We prayed. We cried. We asked the Lord for wisdom + shared encouragement.
It was the sweetest time, and we couldn’t have experienced it without showing up.
I guess I’m just saying it is a joy to be a disciple of Christ and help others do the same ❤️
You can’t know what you’re missing if you don’t show up. I believe with all my heart THESE are moments that form and shape us — transform us.
