‼️NO PRAYER GROUP AT THE CHURCH TONIGHT‼️
But we wanted one more night of prayer, even if we could not be together 💛
I want to encourage you to still make space for prayer today at home, and set aside intentional time to:
📖 read Scripture
🙏 pray
🕊️ listen
✍️ journal
🌿 rest in God’s presence
Here are a few Scriptures and prayer prompts you can walk through slowly:
📖 Psalm 77:11–12 (honestly though, read the whole chapter!)
But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.
🙏 Reflect:
- What are moments in my life where God clearly came through?
- How can remembering His past faithfulness strengthen my present trust?
- Take a few minutes to intentionally “rehearse” His goodness.
📖 Lamentations 3:22–30 (but AGAIN...the whole chapter here!!)
The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words.[a] I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this:The faithful love of the Lord never ends![b] His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline: Let them sit alone in silence beneath the Lord’s demands. Let them lie face down in the dust, for there may be hope at last. Let them turn the other cheek to those who strike them and accept the insults of their enemies.
🙏 Reflect:
- Where have I seen God’s mercy carry me recently?
- How has God shown up for me in ways I didn’t expect?
- What does it look like to trust His mercy for tomorrow?
We'd love to hear what the Lord spoke to you during this time!
