Today reminded us of the important role fathers play in shaping families, building character, and leaving a legacy of love and faith. Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing fathers and father figures in our lives. 💙

And just like that, VBS 2026 has come to a close!

What an incredible journey we’ve had at Illumination Station as we explored the powerful truth of John 8:12:
“I am the Light of the World. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Over these past few days, children and adults came together to learn, worship, laugh, grow, and shine for Christ. We are grateful for every participant, volunteer, teacher, parent, donor, and supporter who helped make this experience so special.
As we leave Illumination Station, our prayer is that the light of Jesus continues to shine brightly in our hearts, our homes, and our community.

Thank you for being a part of this unforgettable week. Until next year, keep letting your light shine!

Today Was Mismatched Sock Day at Illumination Station!

What a fun day as our participants showed up in their craziest, most colorful mismatched socks!

Today’s lesson reminded us that even when life feels mixed up, Jesus is perfect.

Just like our socks didn’t match, life doesn’t always go as planned. We all face challenges, make wrong choices, and experience moments that seem out of place. But through it all, we can trust Jesus because He never changes. His love is constant, His grace is sufficient, and His truth always lights the way.

Day 2 at VBS was another amazing evening at St. John Baptist Church!

From smiles and laughter to lessons and learning, our children, youth, and adults continued their journey through Illumination Station, discovering what it means when Jesus says:

“I am the Light of the World.” John 8:12

We are grateful for every participant, volunteer, teacher, and supporter who helped make Day 2 special. God’s light is shining brightly through every activity, every lesson, and every life being touched.

Day 1 of VBS 2026 at St. John Baptist Church is in the books!

Tonight, children and adults came together for an exciting start to our Illumination Station VBS 2026 journey. Our theme, “Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is,” came alive through fellowship, learning, laughter, and fun.

As we celebrated Backwards Day, we were reminded that following Jesus often means turning away from our own way and choosing His way. What a blessing it was to see every generation engaged, growing, and shining together!

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, taught, and supported our first night.

We invite you to join us tomorrow, June 9, at 5:30 PM for another exciting evening of faith, fun, and learning. There’s still room for you at Illumination Station!
