Congratulations to the five new priests ordained for the Diocese of Austin this past weekend!

We were especially honored to have three of our brother Knights serving in the Fourth Degree Honor Guard, witnessing this beautiful moment in the life of the Church.

Please join us in praying for these newly ordained priests as they begin their ministry. May they always serve Christ and His people with faith, humility, and joy.

“I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.” — Jeremiah 3:15

May God bless and strengthen our new priests as they answer His call to shepherd His flock. 🙏✝️

The Knights of Columbus Manor Council #14674 are honored to recognize the Oviedo family as our Knights Family of the Month for the month of June!

The Oviedo’s are active parishioners at St. Joseph’s. Silvestre serves as an acolyte and is in MFCC. His wife Lorena is a lector and is also in MFCC. Their children serve as altar servers.

Family is the heart of our faith and community, and we are blessed to celebrate this milestone together. Just as we gather around the Lord’s table at Mass, we are reminded that strong families, rooted in faith, are the foundation of a strong Church.

📖 “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15

We thank God for the witness of this family and for all families striving to live out their faith, serve their parish, and walk together in Christ. May this recognition inspire us all to grow closer to God and one another.

If you would like to nominate a family for Family of the Month, please email [email protected] with the family’s name and reason you are nominating them.

Today, the Knights of Columbus had the honor of awarding seven scholarships to outstanding graduating high school seniors. These students are the very first recipients of the David Torrez Memorial Scholarship, making this a truly special occasion for our council and our St. Joseph parish community.

On behalf of all the Knights of Columbus, congratulations to each of these young men and women on this well-deserved achievement. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to your education have brought you to this important milestone.

This scholarship is named in memory of our brother, David Torrez, whose faith, generosity, and love for others continue to inspire us. We pray that as you begin this next chapter of your lives, you will always keep God at the center of your decisions, your studies, your careers, and your families. May He guide your paths, strengthen your faith, and bless you with success in all that you do.

Congratulations again to our seven scholarship recipients. We are proud of you, we are praying for you, and we look forward to seeing all that God has planned for your future.

Vivat Jesus!

The Knights of Columbus would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Torrez family for their generous donation of a coffee pot for our council kitchen.

While we deeply miss our brother Knight, David Torrez, his spirit of generosity and service continues to bless our council. Through this thoughtful gift from his family, David is still helping provide fellowship, hospitality, and community for the many people who gather in our hall.

We are reminded that the good we do in this life continues to bear fruit long after we are gone. Thank you, Torrez family, for this meaningful gift and for allowing David’s legacy of faith, charity, and brotherhood to continue among us.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
