Manor United Methodist Church, Manor Texas Manor United Methodist Church is the oldest UMC in Manor, a staple of the community since 1854 and proud to be connected to this vibrant community.

Manor United Methodist Church was first organized in a school house in 1854. It then moved to the Parson Seminary, located on what is now the old high school, where they continued to meet until 1860. After the difficult times of the Civil War, the Church made plans to build their own facility. On the second Sunday of May, 1882, the dedication sermon was delivered in the new church. The walls were

unpainted, the benches were hard and straight, and there was no organ or piano, but songs were sung from the Methodist Hymnal –a ca****la. The current Sanctuary was built in 1921 and has been renovated several times over the years. This history of tradition and commitment, yet change and renewal tells you much about Manor United Methodist Church and the people who worship here. It is a welcoming, inviting place to belong. There is the warmth of values held through the years with the awareness that Christ is always calling us to be a new creation and share the Message with all.

Join us for a weekend Vacation Bible School at Manor UMC on June 27th and 28th!

♥️Saturday (9:00 am - 3:00 pm) - Fun day of learning about God’s love, singing, games, crafts, and food.

♥️Sunday (10:30 am - 2:00 pm) - We invite kids and families to join us to listen to songs and learn about all the VBS fun then join us for a cook-out and family-fun activities!
