But before we hear Paul’s words, it’s worth remembering the people who first received them: ordinary believers living in the shadow of the Temple of Artemis, learning to follow Jesus in a city filled with competing voices and loyalties. As this week’s final devotion reminds us, Ephesians isn’t just an ancient letter to study; it’s the living Word of God, preserved to strengthen His people in every generation. My prayer is that each of us comes tomorrow with open hearts, ready not simply to learn more about Paul, but to encounter the God who inspired these words.
