O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens.
When I look at your heavens, what your fingers have made -
the moon and the stars you have set firmly in place -
what are human beings that you are mindful of them;
what are human beings that you care for them?
Yet, you have made them a little lower than God,
crowning them with glory and honor.
You have given them dominion over all your works, putting all things under their feet.
Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! Amen.
*Opening Prayer - based on 1 Ephesians 1:3-14
All glory, honor, and praise be to Holy God the Almighty Creator of the earth, all that inhabits it, and the starry hosts of heaven. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ whom the Father has blessed us in, declaring us holy and blameless in his sight. We give thanks to the Lord that we have received redemption through his blood for the forgiveness of sin according the riches of his grace. In all wisdom and insight, he has made known to us the mystery of his will, set forth in Christ, for the fullness of time to unite all things in him. We have entered in to this glorious inheritance through his word of truth, the gospel of salvation, and have been sealed with the Holy Spirit, according to his purpose and promise. May we live in praise of the Triune God, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

All things come from you, O God, and with praise and thanksgiving we return to you what is yours. And so, in gratitude for all that you have done, we offer you ourselves, and all that we have, in union with Christ’s offering for us. Amen.

By your Spirit, O God, enlighten our hearts, open our minds, fill our vision with your radiance, and give us life, as we hear your Word today. Amen.
