First Lutheran Church Manitowoc First Lutheran Church (ELCA) offers worship at 9am on Sundays, bible study, youth group, fellowship and service opportunities as we Gather, Grow and Serve.

Throughout its 170 year history, First Lutheran has been an important part of the Manitowoc community as we strive to love Jesus and serve his people. First Lutheran Church (originally named The Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church) was built on its current site on 8th St. in 1869. A new church was built in 1953 to accommodate the growing community which includes the building you see today plus a

n addition that was added in 1987 to make the building handicapped accessible as well as add more parking.

Peace everyone! In a follow up to Sunday’s service, Paul and I sat down for a few games of one of the greatest games - cribbage! The totals - 2 to 2. We each won twice (but I skunked him twice!).

We laughed. We shared. And we gave thanks to God for this moment. Peace Paul, and thanks be to God for you!

Way to go Outreach Ministry team!

“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.”

64 people were fed!!! You read that right, no small feat. Tuesday night's family dinner gave 64 people the opportunity for a full belly and human connection. Thank you First Lutheran Church Manitowoc for making this a possiblity for our community.

Summer Faith and Fun! God loves, we love. Jesus washes his disciples’ feet. We had so much fun at the Aquatic Center on this beautiful night and then enjoyed pizza together in Citizen’s Park! Thank you to all the families who joined us this summer! 🏊‍♀️🍕❤️
