It’s easy to think the early Church started because people were ready.
Like they had the plan, the structure, the clarity. That’s not what happened.
Acts 2 shows something different. God moved and everything changed from there.
The Church wasn’t built on talent, organization, or strong personalities. It was born when the Holy Spirit showed up and filled ordinary people.
And it didn’t just reach one kind of person. Different languages, different backgrounds, different stories— all brought together without losing what made them unique.
That’s the kind of Kingdom Jesus was pointing to.
And underneath all of it is this steady truth: God keeps His promises. Even when it feels delayed.
So the question isn’t whether God is able to move. It’s whether we’re trying to carry something on our own or actually depending on the same Spirit that started it all.
