A quick Food Pantry update for tomorrow!

Due to a large truck delivery, our Food Pantry will be opening a little later than usual tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27, at 11:00 AM.

Thank you for your understanding while we get everything unloaded and situated. ❤️

Sometimes a hobby can become something so much bigger. 🧶❤️

Mary Helgerson Seiler took something she enjoys doing and turned it into a beautiful way to help children right here in our community.

She handmade an incredible **123 pairs of mittens and 24 scarves** and donated them all to our **Coats for Kids** campaign! 🧤🧣

That is a whole lot of yarn, a whole lot of time, and a whole lot of care put into keeping local kids warm this winter.

Thank you, Mary, for sharing your talent with the children in our community. We absolutely love this! ❤️

And maybe Mary’s project will spark an idea for someone else, too. **What hobby or talent could you turn into something that helps your community?**

Come ring bells with us.
It's simple, it's local, and it's a way to spend a little time together doing something that supports neighbors in our own community.

Our Red Kettle Campaign needs bell ringers for 2-hour shifts, and community groups are encouraged to participate.

Need community service hours? We’ve got a bell for you. 🔔

High school students, if you're looking for a way to earn volunteer hours while doing something good right here in your community, consider spending a shift at one of our Red Kettles.

This isn't busy work. The money raised through our local kettles helps support Salvation Army services throughout the year.
And yes, we've had local high school students use bell ringing for required community service before.

Those Red Kettles you see every Christmas? They help us serve our community long after Christmas is over. 🔔❤️

The money raised through our Red Kettle Campaign stays local and helps support the work of The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County throughout the year.
And here’s something people may not realize: those kettles need people standing beside them.

Our Red Kettle Campaign begins November 5, and bell ringers are currently one of our biggest needs for the Christmas season. Shifts are just two hours, and individuals, families, churches, businesses, and community groups are all welcome to get involved.

🔔 Give two hours. Ring a bell. Make a difference right here at home.

You can make it a family tradition, sign up with a friend, bring your coworkers, or get a group together from church. However you choose to ring, you’re helping make year-round ministry possible right here in Manitowoc County.
