Tomorrow is the first Sunday of the month, which means we will be observing the Lord's Supper in our 11:00 AM service. Then we'll begin a new summer teaching series on the Beatitudes looking at Jesus' instruction regarding the basis of a happy life. Please join us!

Tomorrow we will be observing SEND Sunday with a service dedicated to the task of sending laborers into God's global harvest. Then we'll receive a special offering to help provide the Sara Kaba Naa people of southwestern Chad with the Old Testament in their language. It all begins at 11:00 AM!

While this weekend we will be remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, tomorrow as we gather to worship we'll be looking at how to live lives worthy of the one who sacrificed His life on the cross for us. You are invited to join us for our 11:00 AM service.

Join us tomorrow at 11:00 AM as we conclude our "Elijah: Ordinary Man, Extraordinary God" series looking at how God confronted Elijah with a very simple question to help him put aside his gloomy and defeatist attitude and get back in the battle for God.

Accomplished the following at today's church work day:

*cleaned auditorium ceiling fans;
*vacuumed under auditorium heat registers;
*washed auditorium windows inside and out;
*washed auditorium window screens;
*furniture polished auditorium window sills;
*dusted pews;
*removed leaves from around flowers and shrubs;
*trimmed bushes;
*cleaned out and organized boiler room;
*power washed south & east sides of church building;
*washed church van;
*readied riding mower for summer use

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all our amazing, wonderful mothers! As we honor our mothers today in our 11:00 AM service, we will be looking at several mothers in Scripture who made a difference and seeing how mothers today can continue to make a difference in their children's lives.
