THIS WEEK IN WORSHIP
This Week In Worship - we come to the close of our summer series in the Gospel of John. Our text Sunday will be John 17:1-26. That sounds long. It is. A bit. Really, it’s all one long prayer of Jesus. We will see what we can see for ourselves, considering Jesus and prayer. I hope you will take some time to read this passage, meditate, and pray in advance. We're nearing the end of our summer series, “The Rest Of The Story: John’s Gospel.” Our passage is John 12:1-11, where Jesus is anointed in Bethany, just ahead of the triumphal entry. THIS WEEK IN WORSHIP

Thank you to the Guatemala Mission Team for sharing last week. It was inspiring to hear what is happening with Kairos Ministry and what God did with the team. This Sunday, we return to the Gospel of John with a message from John 9; the story of the man born blind. This story begins with a question, and it raises many questions for us today. Take some time to read the passage and consider for yourself what questions it raises for you. THIS WEEK IN WORSHIP
This Week In Worship - We have a story that many know and, quite frankly, makes many squirm. We will be looking at the woman caught in adultery. John 8:1-11. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all reason why this story makes us squirm, but in the end, there is something that unites us all. Take some time to read and consider. Where is it that you object? Where is it you might identify? Not going there? What can you take from this story? Take some time. Then, come Sunday for worship, for fellowship, for communion, and we will consider this story together. Hope to see you Sunday. Until then, be blessed.

THIS WEEK IN WORSHIP
This Week In Worship - We wrap up the month of July with an extended teaching of Jesus from John 6 - beginning at verse 25. Jesus has fed the 5,000 and walked on water in the night to meet his disciples. Now, the crowds find him, chasing after him. Jesus has a lot to say. In the end, they don’t want to hear all Jesus has to say. Take some time to read the rest of chapter 6 and consider, “Can you accept all Jesus has to say?” There is a lot there. Take some time to read, reflect, and pray. Then, come Sunday for worship, fellowship, and to go deeper with Jesus’ teaching. Hope to see you Sunday. Till then, be blessed.

THIS WEEK IN WORSHIP
Last week, we heard from the West Virginia Mission Team. Thank you, Team! This week we pick up our series in John’s Gospel. We find ourselves with the Disciples in a boat in a tough spot. Jesus comes along, but the response isn’t what you might expect. Take some time to read John 6:16-24 and consider how you respond to Jesus in tough times, and why? From Joyce Diffenderfer - prayers for Jim Nauman. A friend from the Sportsman’s Club. Jim was in a terrible e-bike accident. He is in the hospital with a traumatic brain injury and suffered a heart attack in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

There is power back at church as if about 1:30 pm. (PRAISE GOD) We are back in business. Joyce will be in tomorrow. There will be some sorting out to do.
