High School University

High School University High School Ministry of University Christian Church for students grades 9-12. Relationships are vital in a student’s life. We laugh together and cry together.

This is simply one of the reasons why relationships drive our youth ministry. We want all students to have a place to belong, a place to call home, a place where they can be themselves and be surrounded by friends and positive influences. We want to connect students with adult leaders who care about them, spend time with them, and share life with them. Ultimately, we want students to have a connec

tion with Jesus. We have a whole lot of fun together, but also discuss serious topics that affect students in our culture today. We do our best to lift up the hurting and celebrate with each victory. In the end, everything comes back to the Bible, the center of our purposes, methods, and teaching. We invite you to join us and experience it for yourself!

This Friday evening at 8pm until this Saturday morning at 8am, The U is hosting a Lock-In for all High School students! 🔒

Lock-In’s are all-nighters filled with food, energy drinks, games, tournaments, nap rooms and friends! But once you come on campus and get checked in, you can’t leave until getting picked up ❌

Invite a friend, bring a pillow & blanket if you want to nap, some cash if you want to pay for energy drinks & coffee, and come ready for the longest night of your life! 🥱

Huddles at The U are weekly spiritual training sessions where we’ll pray together, read Scripture and talk about faith in Jesus name. Bring your Bible & something to write on! ✝️

Lunch Bunch is a weekly opportunity to gather for a meal around town with other high school friends in HSU. Bring your own money & invite a friend for lunch! 🍔🌮🍕

Psalm 51:10 - “Create in me a clean heart, O God. And renew a right spirit within me.” 📖

It might have been a little sunny up on Manhattan Hill, but HSU students worshipped in spirit and truth last night. We read Scripture, prayed over each other, laid our burdens at the foot of the cross, sang songs of reflection and praise, and enjoyed communion together ✝️
