Prayer to the Wounded Heart of Jesus
Wounded Heart of Jesus,
O my most beloved and most merciful Jesus,
I long, from the depths of my heart,
that all creation may praise, honor, and glorify You forever,
for the holy wound opened in Your Most Sacred Side.
I offer and place within that wound,
within the very opening of Your Heart,
my heart, my thoughts, my emotions, my desires, my intentions,
and all the powers of my soul.
I beg You,
through the Precious Blood and Water
that flowed from Your Most Merciful Heart,
to possess me completely and guide me in all things.
Set me ablaze with the fire of Your holy love,
that I may be wholly filled and transformed in You,
until I become one with You.
