Today, we celebrate the women whose love feels the closest thing to grace. ❤️

To the moms who prayed for us before we understood prayer, who made ordinary days feel safe and joyful, who taught us kindness, faith, resilience, and unconditional love… thank you!

Whether through quiet sacrifices, warm hugs, encouraging words, or simply always being there, mothers shape hearts in ways the world will never fully see.

Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, and mother figure in our community. You are deeply loved, endlessly appreciated, and a reflection of God’s care in this world. ✨

There was something sacred about walking side by side this morning ✨

Different traditions, different stories, different ways of praying yet for a moment, we moved together in peace, curiosity, and community.

Today we joined our friends from Congregation Tikvat Jacob for our Interfaith Unity Walk.

As we reflected on the words, “Let your sibling live beside you,” we were reminded that faith is not meant to build walls between us, but compassion within us.

In every conversation, every shared laugh, and every step forward, there was a quiet reminder: we belong to one another more than we sometimes realize.

Thank you to everyone that came to our Interfaith Unity Walk and shared this meaningful moment with us.

There’s something powerful about walking side by side
with purpose, with faith, and with one another.

Join Manhattan Beach Community Church and our neighbors at Congregation Tikvat Jacob for an Interfaith Unity Walk as we come together in community, share a moment of reflection and prayer at the Peace Pole, and continue the journey in fellowship.

📍We will gather at the Veterans Parkway Greenbelt (Pacific Ave. & Valley Drive) and walk approximately 1.2 miles round trip, followed by a casual reception nearby.

All are welcome to be part of this shared step toward peace.
