Thank you for the joy you bring, the loyalty you give so freely, the comfort you offer without words, and the countless ways you support the people who love you.

🫂You make ordinary days brighter, difficult days gentler, and our lives so much fuller. You truly are little lights in our lives.

You are fur real and absolutely meowsome!

And because we love seeing you around MBCC, we now have new p**p bag stations around campus to help make every visit a little easier for you and your humans.

🎒✨ Blessing of the Backpacks Sunday ✨🎒

A new school year brings so much with it. New beginnings. New people. New challenges. New possibilities.

This Sunday, we want to surround our students, teachers, and learners of every age with love, encouragement, and prayer as they step into what’s next. 💛

Join us Sunday, August 16 from 10 to 11 AM and bring your backpack to church. During our Time with Children, everyone is invited to bring their backpack forward for a special blessing.

Little backpacks. Teacher bags. College backpacks. Work bags. All are welcome!

Because no matter your age, it means something to know your church community is cheering you on, praying for you, and sending you into a new season with love. 🎒✨

Every person in our community carries a story, and every story has helped make MBCC what it is today.

Thank you for welcoming us into your lives, your families, and your homes, and for allowing this church to become a home for so many in return.

Our hearts are full because of you. Full of memories, laughter, faith, courage, service, and generations of people who have chosen to show up for one another.

Together, we are more than a congregation. We are a community intentionally working to make the world kinder, more hopeful, and more loving.

Every person matters here. Every story belongs. Every act of love helps us move forward together.

Our hearts are especially full as we celebrate this recognition in the 2026 South Bay’s Readers’ Choice Awards. Thank you to The Daily Breeze, The Beach Reporter, and everyone who voted for MBCC.

Our Chair Yoga sessions have come to a close, and we are so grateful for the uplifting experience they brought to our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing Registered Yoga Teacher, Jodi Ryan, for leading each session with kindness, encouragement, and such positive energy. Her care created a welcoming space where everyone could move, relax, and feel supported.

We are also deeply grateful for Jodi’s generosity in using the optional weekly donations to support many meaningful projects in our community.

At MBCC, we believe in caring for the heart, mind, and soul. Everyone is always welcome to join us for opportunities to connect, grow, and feel renewed.

What a joyful evening at Jazz Vespers!

We shared great music, warm conversation, s’mores, and the simple gift of being together.

During the evening, hygiene kits were assembled for people experiencing homelessness, offering a meaningful reminder that generosity can begin with small, practical acts of care.

When we each share what we can, those simple contributions can become something truly helpful for someone else.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the music, mingling, and meaningful moments. We are already looking forward to the next gathering. You are never alone, and you are always welcome here.
