Last night was a beautiful night of ministry. We came across a man we know very well. He has been outside for years. We prayed with him and spoke to him a little bit. He expressed to us his concern of possibly dying outside as he is dealing with numerous health issues. We told him about a possible recovery program we might be able to get him into this week. He was over the moon about this and apparently today was still so excited that he was telling other ministries and friends of ours about his potential opportunity. Please pray for this man, his health, and that God opens up this door for him to get off of the streets of Manchester. 🙏

Despite it being Labor Day Lost Lamb will still be operational. When an outreach day falls on a holiday we always strive to come out. Tonight please join us in praying over the city of Manchester and our outreach team.

Heavenly Father, we come to You as a small team united in one purpose tonight: to lift up the name of Jesus and reach lost souls on the streets. Lord, we ask that You go ahead of us and pave the way. Break down walls of fear, doubt, and hurt. Give us the courage and clarity to speak the name of Jesus with boldness, love, and grace. Let Your Holy Spirit draw people to You, planting seeds of eternal hope and salvation in every heart we encounter. As we work to meet their immediate physical needs, let our hands be an extension of Your grace. Put on the full armor of God over each one of us. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen 🙏

Yesterday after church we came across our friend walking by the ministry just as we pulled in. It was our brother in Christ Raphael and we asked if he needed anything. He told us he could use some food. So we put together a package for him. Every time we have seen him on the street he would come up to us and we would pray with him. Now usually we just pray for others but this man always wanted to pray over our volunteers and our outreach. He has the sweetest soul and there was definitely something different about him. As we were speaking he told us that he is going to the Army today. We prayed with him and asked God to keep him safe. God has answered our prayers and is taking him off the street today. Please pray for his safety as he goes off to serve our country and better his life. We are so proud of this man for his dedication and faith. We must always trust God’s timing because he always has a plan for us. Thank you Jesus for keeping him healthy and protecting him through all the tough long days he has endured outside all these years.

If you can help by just buying even one item off of our list it would really help us to get prepared. Sharing our post on your page can also help it reach more people. We know God is going to provide everything that we need and more.

Our good friend requested size 9.5 shoes earlier in the week stating that his shoes we gave him 6 months ago were falling apart. We weren’t sure we had any at the ministry so we told him we would keep an eye out. When sorting our new donations we realized we had just received a brand new pair of men’s shoes in his size. We then brought them with us over to Veterans Park and surprised him with the shoes. He was so happy with the shoes he put them on immediately and threw out his old ones. We told him that the shoes weren’t from us and that God providing them. This is a testament of God’s love for us and His reminder that He will provide for all of our needs in His perfect timing. Thank you Jesus for your kind and loving heart 💜

The other night we met a man we have never seen before. He told us that he was new to being outside and was concerned he would be cold that night. As we didn’t have any blankets with us, we invited him to walk back with us to the ministry. We never do this with anyone but we felt led by the Holy Spirit. As we were walking back he shared his story with us. He told us that he grew up as a Warlock learning witchcraft. We took this opportunity to share with Jesus and let him know that God loves him and wants to build a relationship with him. After we came out of the ministry with a mat, pillow, and a warm blanket his face lit up with unbelief. He was extremely grateful and we let him know that this wasn’t from us and that all glory goes to God. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. Thank you Jesus for giving us this opportunity and allowing us to be your hands and feet 🙏

Lost Lamb was out last night praying over individuals and building meaningful long-lasting relationships. We provided about 60-65 people with nourishment, drinks, snacks, variety of bags, men’s clothing, and women’s clothing. God brought forth new faces and we learned a lot from them. Sometimes He puts people in our path not only for us to help them but also to give us a new perspective on different situations. Thank you Jesus for helping us to see things through your eyes and giving us the strength to continuously keep going.

A huge thank you 🙏 to our community for your love, support, and generosity towards His ministry. We couldn’t do this work each week without each one of you and we are grateful to have you all apart of something greater than ourselves.

Please pray for our street outreach team tonight as we go out into this dark city to shine some light. We strive to meet people where they’re at instead of sitting at an office and waiting/hoping they will show. We hope to restore a sense of humanity and visibility to individuals who are frequently overlooked or marginalized by society. Here at Lost Lamb we do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Lord, we come to you today with an open heart asking you to direct our steps tonight. May our small acts of service plant seeds of lasting hope. Fill us with compassion, patience, and love. Help us see every person through your eyes. Give us the right words to speak and the grace to listen. Put on the full armor of God over each one of us. In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen 🙏
